Anyone watch the fight?

Stunned at the decision. I can't say I know a ton about boxing but didn't seem like Horn was the better boxer at all. Showed a lot of heart though.

Sure looked like PAC got robbed, but whatever. There's a reason why boxing has the rep as the most corrupt sport.

Yeah, I had it 115-112 for Pacquiao. Thought he won 7 rounds (and I had the 9th as a 10-8), and Horn won 5. But if you switch just one round and score the 9th as a 10-9 instead (and there wasn't a knockdown), then it's a 114-114 draw. I did see it as a close fight. But 117-111 for Horn is just unconscionable.

Have they ever talked about letting them go more rounds and if no winner just calling it a draw? I mean .. they almost stopped it in the 9th because manny was dominating so i dont get it.

In the old days of boxing, there wasn't a winner until someone got knocked out. There were no decisions. Obviously, that couldn't fly today. Boxing is violent enough as it is, and they shortened championship fights from 15 rounds to 12 rounds sometime in the 1980's, I believe. Too many safety issues at play.

This makes the Timothy Bradley robbery against Manny look like a reasonable decision. The ref almost stopped the fight in the 9th he was getting beat so bad. The Compubox stats reflect that domination and Manny loses unanimously?

Hard to argue when people make accusations that boxing is a rigged sport.

For the record im not a fan of Pacman for non boxing related things.

Maybe Jodeke can explain. he had horn winning and I know he's been watching boxing longer than most of us have been alive.

Exhibit W of why I no longer cough up PPV cheese for boxing. This one was free and I still feel robbed. Then again, I know who won and so does everyone else except Horn, his mom and the three morons that found it reasonable to give a guy who landed half as many punches as the champion (landing with 15% accuracy no less!!) the decision.

It's a bad joke and I've sat through it far too many times.

No excuse can be made. Compubox numbers and Horn's face backed up what everyone but those 3 imbeciles saw.

I'm not a fight fan... but I am pretty shocked as well.

Horn kept headlocking/grabbing Pac and throwing (what seemed like) some cheapshots at Manny every 30 seconds. Is that even legal? What a mess.

Noticef that also. I guess it must be allowed because other than the ref saying "try not to do that" there seems to be no penalty.
