Fanbase after fanbase in this series is getting pissed at him for playing better than he should against their team.

This guy just has determination and effort. Was written off so many times but just kept working. Now he's a crucial rotation player on a contending team. Kudos.

Bald Eagle had a good start to G5. Nice to see that.

God, if only he could shoot around 36% on 3s.

An unbelievable effort in a big close out game.
Caruso is a 3 point shot away from being one of the most valuable role players in the league.

I do wonder if he can make that leap, though. As much as I love him, it's not clear if there is an "upside."

But it is true that lots of people have made strides on their shot through training and practice. I really hope he can grow in that area.

AC doesn't have much more upside left at his age - he's a nice bench role player for the rest of his career. It's mainly just seeing if he can make incremental improvements with his jumper.

Haha... made me think of how old he looks. You're right of course. He is what he is. But incremental improvement could add tremendous value to his game.

I can see him making a big jump just by becoming more confident and gaining experience. If he can become a 36% shooter from 3, he is a bonafide starter.

Right now, AC might be a top-10 perimeter defender in the league. He is that good on that end.

If I am Rob, AC is almost untouchable unless there is another star coming back. I wouldn't even trade him for say a Buddy Hield.

Buddy Hield is a star with uncanny shooting ability. AC has uncanny defensive instincts. We dont necessarily need Hield though as we have shooters that play far better defense than Hield. DG and KCP. Granted neither of those guys have the upside nor shooting ability of Hield. I wanna stick with those guys at least until next year

Yeah, I wouldn't trade him unless it was some piece that made us clearly the favorites which I doubt would happen. He's that nearly perfect role player that just simply makes good things happen on both ends consistently.

I also agree he's a semi-consistent 3 away from being one of the best role players in the NBA.

last off season, Caruso was just concentrating on making the rotation. but now he has that covered, hopefully this off season he can concentrate on his three point shooting.

Gotta say, Caruso's shooting percentages are down this year and particularly in the playoffs, but his defense and hustle are off the charts. That's why I'm so glad KCP's stepped up his shooting, as has Rondo. They're both pairing well with AC right now.

What AC can hopefully develop as his career progresses is a mid-range shot, more consistency from outside, going into attack mode more often, and a lot more playoff experience.

Loved his game yesterday, how he played both ends of the court, his off ball movement against Denver's defense in particular, he and Dwight blew Denver's comeback strategy to pieces.

Caruso I think is like AB, a good defender who has developed a good shot. Look how AB was before COVID. Give him another season, I think he replaces AB , once his contract expires.

His shooting is bad right now but his finishing is legit

His defense is great
His hustle and energy is great
He makes good passes from time to time
He can handle the ball some

He is an extremely useful player. What's his salary?
