Neither Caruso or Ennis have a place on a winning NBA team. They wouldn't be on most NBA rosters, even as a third stringer.
Lol Penberthy says hi
He's borderline but he is young and has time to improve some. I won't count him out. IMO he could be a 3rd team "system-type" guard. Again, time will tell.
Do you honestly think he belongs in the league? He's slow, he can't defend, he can't shoot and he can't create. Josh Hart has bad games, Kuzma has bad games, Caruso is just bad.

Caruso isn't a terrible defender. I'd say he's average. He also manages the ball okay. However, in the NBA, if you don't add value somewhere, even with just one go to skill set, you can't last. Sure, he can still improve, but he isn't an NBA player. I suppose he could be a 3rd stringer, but that's his limit right now, if that.
If we plan to compete next year, we need a legit backup PG. That's not Caruso, nor Ennis. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service
Caruso or Ennis? Which one do you guys prefer to have for next season?
It really depends on if the Lakers can bring in even 1 big name player..
Ennis has been really aggressive and has been doing great the last few games, he has NBA experience and I am fine with him returning as the bench PG next season.
Caruso may have a few good steals and hit a few shots, but his play in general (including his turnovers), fully illustrate why he should NOT be on the Lakers bench next year, unless of course their plan is to win 30 games again.. _________________ “Always remember... As a 3rd string PG I can easily see him in the NBA.
Decent athleticism, can defend and pass the ball. _________________ White guy to white guy alley oop

LA has Caruso under a 2-way deal this year which comes at a zero cap hit. I expect his deal to get converted at some point this season. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.

So Caruso and Newman are the 2-way deal this season? Or Caruso has to sign a new 2-way deal?
Caruso will graduate to the 15-man roster this year. That third string PG spot is his to lose, IMO. _________________ A creative scorer, a wing defender, and a shooter.

AC doesn't get a lot of love compared to Hart or the new rookies but the summer league team really benefits from his D, hustle, and ability to organize the offense. Think he's going to be helpful next year in a 3rd string role in spot minutes on the main squad. _________________ 0.4
