Do you think he will take Rondo's spot for next year as bench pg?

"I said it in our coaches' meeting this morning," Rivers said, "You know who I really like on the Lakers is Caruso."

I hope that we don't re-sing Rondo, so yes

Dont mind the guy as the 3rd pg at all... I think he be a decent back up for real cheap next season.

He’s not trying to be a 3rd point guard. If you view him as that then he’ll just go somewhere else for the guaranteed $$$. But whatever man.

He’s a hell of a lot better than Rondo. Without being a headcase.

Said it in the other thread... he's so good, the free agency recruitment has already begun

CARUSO!

Dude is shooting over 50% from 3 and is a positive net defender. I do think he’s benefitting from being fresh and playing against opposition that’s been worn down by the schedule (I think Williams is benefiting from this too), but there is no denying what he did last night.

Definitely worth a minimum contract for a couple of years to see if he can do this consistently.

^^^ He's not an UFA. We can match any offer made to him, or give him an at minimum $80K to play for us next year.

No joke, but for the past few years, Caruso has been my wife's favorite Laker (even when he spent most of his time off the roster in the G-League). She was literally sobbing with joy last night cheering him on during his amazing beat down of the Clippers.

The last 4-5 games have actually been fun to watch if only because of his tremendous effort (and poster dunks, lol).

Nice to know this. We should keep both Caruso and Williams for next season.

I'm re-watching the last part of the game after Alex started going off and I'm noticing he's having several conversations with teammates without covering his mouth. He's going to have to work on that technique over the summer.

If there’s a way to keep him u do that. U don’t go crazy and over pay him... if he can stay for $2 million a year or less u do it.

Dude, that is so cool that your wife rocks with Caruso like that.

I was so proud of him last night too. Almost shed a little tear myself tbh.

Go Alex!

I think he gives us a chance to re-sign him , especially if we are assuring him of playing time next year. He may vault hims of above Hart and convince us not to resign Rondo.

Caruso back up PG
Hart back up SG
Free agent Kemba as starting SG

Draft KPJ as SG/SF or Clarke as back up PF/C

Buy a second rounder and pick up a prospect that might have dropped or euro
Great summer complete:))))))

That’s a nice backup backcourt, AC and Hart.
