He better be coming off the bench this year.
he should because Hart is already a much better player
I dont know about much better. Its debatable. KCP can be extremely servicable on most nights. Will give you great defense, lot of effort and he can catch fire. He can also be depended on to score 15 points most nights. Underrated player IMO.
Hart still isnt that level to me.
Oh well, doesnt hurt to have both. Next year Hart will be ready to be a starting SG for sure but as of now, a combination of KCP and Hart works better. We are very strong at the SG position with two of them.

Apparently we can only have one SG we really like...
How much run did KCP get at the 3 last year? Would be awesome if he played some backup minutes at the 3 to give Hart some more run at the 2. With both on the floor they could spread the floor pretty well.

How does KCP compare with current Ariza?
Ariza is up there in age. Its close but I think Ariza is still better. Going forward KCP is probably going to surpass him soon. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good
I don't think LA overpayed for KCP. Look at the comps: Ariza (1-Yr, $15M), Tyreke (1-Yr, $12M), A Bradley (2-Yr, $25.0M, $2M guarantee 19-20), Redick (1-Yr, $13M), Harris (2-Yr, $16M), Exum (3-Yr, $33M), Hezonja (1-Yr, $6.5M), Belinelli (2-Yr, $12M),Barton (4-Yr, $54M),
KCP (1-Yr, $12M)
The only other SGs on the market: Young, Ellington, Vince, Smart and Lavine (latter two restricted). _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.

I think Ariza will be a Laker after the suns buy him out in February.
Why would they buy him out when they just paid him 15 mil?
February. When PHX will be tanking and Ariza asks for a buyout.
I'd love to sign Ariza if the Suns were to buy him out. Not just for nostalgic reasons (it'll be ten years since the 2009 Finals), but he's the perfect veteran that can defend and stretch the floor. I definitely think we'll be in the conversation for him, Carmelo, Tyson Chandler and other buyout candidates come next February. _________________ "I have self-doubt. I have insecurity. Are we even talking about how this guy turned down a 5 year/80mill deal two years ago from the Pistons? Dude should've fired his agent. Oh wait, that's Lebron's agent. Nevermind, great move.

Nerlens Noel also turned down 70M from the Mavs. Also LeBron's agent. Dont know if he had the same agent at the time though. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Were paying Deng $18 mill to sit on the bench for crying out loud
I don't think he even sits on the bench anymore. Either that or he's become so irrelevant to me he's invisible. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant
KCP is a good, young player. Would I rather see Josh Hart out there? Of course, but that’s the price you pay for getting Lebron on the team. 2 years/20m for Mana from Heaven. Now let’s hope he doesn’t feel the need to play hero ball and have Kobe escort his family away...
