I'm more inclined to blame Luke and whatever system this is and give KCP the benefit of the doubt. We don't even run plays for ANYONE to get wide open looks, let alone KCP. Only time guys shoot 3s is on fast breaks or Lebron driving and finding someone.

I wonder how good KCP would look in a Spurs uniform with a team that loves to share the ball and make plays for each other, KCP definitely regressed this year because of having to many guys who think they are good enough to take players 1-on-1 without looking for guys like KCP who can knock down the 3
.

Great minutes from KCP. Agree with the above that Luke’s ‘system’ isn’t maximizing what he’s good at.

we should be happy KCP is on this squad. now we're seeing him settle in and do what only he can do on this team: make fts and be a reliable 3pt shooter.

Why is KCP getting the benefit of the doubt? He had his best season ever, by far, under Luke. That's either a credit to Luke or a credit to Fluke. He has since regressed to the player he was in Detroit, just with less minutes. He's not an impactful player.

Luke doesnt get credit for making shots and fts so much as kcp himself. With nobody else at his level, he is going to be more and more useful as we go along. It's not that he's getting the benefit of the doubt, hes the only one on the squad that has proven he can do this in the nba. None of the others have. Not BI, Hart, Kuz. If those guys do well this year, it will be the first year they have proven it in the nba. Currently, other than Hart, not much improvement in the others, and Hart is only slight IMO. But we have to wait a year to see with these guys.

But we're going to keep trashing KCP. Just like Lou and Nick. Anytime we get a good scorer here, we trash him. ANything but scorers are appreciated.

Welcome back to the Lakers KCP. We have missed you. Please tell me you buried the imposter masquerading as you to start the season.

I have been hard on him, but he was good tonight.

Honestly, this was my favorite game from KCP I have ever seen in a Laker uniform.

Pretty much all of his shots were great looks, great form, all within the flow of the offense, played smart defense.

He played like he wasn’t KCP. Which is great! Jokes aside, awesome game from him tonight, very proud.

Right when he was finding his role and knockin down shots off Rondo dishes.

Glad KCP is getting comfy off the bench and shooting well.

KcP!
That's how you do it.

He's been playing well of late, good to see it culminate into a big time performance

Yeah, can’t see him getting traded if he keeps making shots but most Imoortant playing good D like he did tonight, he should only be used in a AD trade or a Beal to match salaries if it came down to that.

His stroke finally looked fluid and confident like last season. If KCP can return to being a 38% 3 point shooter that would be HUGE for us
