No. He fits better now that he’s behind the bench.

Him or Hart needs to start for Ingram or Kuzma. I have my preferences but at this point I’d be happy with it either way as long as it doesn’t include the current starting lineup.

Agreed, but it's hard to bench Kuz or Ingram right now because LeBron seems to be enjoying the 3 spot at the moment. Could work against teams without an enforcer down low though.

KCP can be a valuable player for the Lakers. Don't trade him.
When he is hot he is a microwave.
And his 94% FT shooting is needed at the end of games.

He just needs to get involved in the offense.

He got off to a slow start but has picked it up the last few games. He's 4th in the league in FT%. 94.1.

He just needs involvement, period. Almost seems like he’s being frozen out at times.

Hey’s been earning his money of late. Plus he’s very low maintenance, coming off the bench with no ego. Understanding that his contract is also a trade chip. Allowing us to tamper and get Lebron. KCP is starting to earn it.

Well, if you're on the court with BI and Stephenson, chances are you're getting frozen out a little. But I do think KCP thrives with structure and some predictability into where his shots are coming from.

KCP is starting to have the role in this team. In last 5 we won 4 and his numbers are. 13.2 pt, 3.8 boards, 50 % for 3 and FT at 100%
This is really really good.

I have never understood the hate on KCP when fans were getting on him, he is like a mini Klay, when his game is on he is very fun to watch.

Players are up and down in the long long season. I’m glad we are deep enough to overcome their inconsistency problem.

Between, it may be Luke designing play for certain players. McGee, Kuzma and Hart are not that impressive lately while Ingram, Ball and KCP look better and better game over game.

KCP should start in place of Kuzma. We need a defender that can chase guys over off ball screens. BI is a great wind defender, but it's hard for him to defend the pick and roll or chase guys...

I thought the starting lineup at the beginning should of been

Lonzo
KCP
Ingram
Lebron
McGee

I could see us getting back to that at some point. I love J. Hart, his potential is greater then KCP, I still think Pope is the better player right now. Pope can also shoot better then Kuzma. Or swap out Ingram for Kuz but I think that just kills our defense.

He is better then JR and Lebron won a chip with JR as his starting two.

I am certainly glad that KCP appears to have broken out of his early season slump.
When his game is clicking, we are a much better team.

KCP during October: 5.9 ppg on 20.4 minutes, shooting 22.2% on 3 pointers
KCP during November: 10.1 ppg on 19.7 minutes, shooting 41% on 3 pointers

Also better then Mo Williams and Mario Chalmers, Cleveland won 66 games with Mo as a starter.

Whilst I never posted such an opinion on here I'll raise my hand and say I had given up on KCP entirely. I thought he'd taken the money and ran with how bad his start to the season was but these last 4 or 5 games he's really turned a corner and you can see how much better he makes the side playing as we knew he was capable of from last year.

The defensive effort last night was brilliant, the chase down block in particular. Credit where credit is due.

I share these thoughts. Kuzma has fallen off drastically and he's defense is not helping his cause.

Loved Casey's activity on defense last night. He was running back hard after turnovers and got a few deflections. Another good game.

KCP on Murray in the second quarter destroyed us today. Didn’t help that he continued his brickfest from the last game too. Hopefully it’s a mini slump he’ll break out of on Thursday.

He's great on defense but a liability on offense. The problem is we have too many liabilities on offense to carry them all.

In 20 minutes a game 7.5 points, 2 rebounds, at 36.5% shooting and 31% 3 point shooting. And for this we're forking out 12 mil a year?
