What a turnaround, wow. Nowadays I feel like every three he takes will go in. Especially the corner ones. Keep it up, KCP!

Should be starting smh

hated his contract but yes he definitely should be starting to give spacing to our starting unit

KCP is balling; IMO he seems to play better when he starts.

Went to the NYK game with my son, and watched KCP live, and I want to go on the record saying I am glad he has worked so hard to improve, and I virtually apologize for questioning/ grumbling/ loudly bemoaning his re-signing this summer.

Whether it's better confidence, better coaching, or better composition of the roster, KCP is a needed and valuable part of this team. His shot is falling, but his defense and controlled assertiveness really is an asset to this team.

I love what I'm seeing from Avery Bradley and think he's better at being an aggressive, PG-interceptor right from the tip. I also see the benefit of having KCP starting and giving even more spacing from the get-go, so much so that it may be more worthwhile to have AB come off the bench and try to work some more P&R with the 2nd unit (as he did with Memphis last year) or with AD when LBJ sits, so KCP can continue to thrive with the starters, but it's great seeing KCP work in either role.

The league is a joke for that.

NBA should've suspended Portis.

He did AGAIN last night to Bagdanovic!

Bobby Portis certainly was a lot more violent to KCP than Clowney was to Wentz and that is football.

This Portis seems like a real character, I will be keeping my eye on him.

FYI:

Caldwell-Pope is shooting 43.3 percent from 3-point range (11th-best in the NBA).

Is KCP the sweetheart of the team?

I notice this a lot, but when a teammate gets hurt, if KCP is on the court, he's always asking if the teammate is ok. Shows concern. Today he did that for a teammate.

Another thing that happen today was Alex or someone ran into a camera man. KCP went over to check on the camera man. And during free throws kcp went to get a towel for the camera man.

Seems like a gentle soul.

Makes me feel extra bad about ragging on him when he was down.

It also speaks volumes how all his teammates constantly only said glowing things about him even when he was struggling beyond belief earlier in the season.

Not going to lie KCP shut me the ef up this season. Just another reason Rob has to be extremely careful this season with any trade. Unless it clearly has us winning and fixing holes it shouldn't be made. This is the first time I felt this way about an entire roster since probably 2009 team. Don't take it for granted.

Yeah, I think the criticism the fo got over getting those 3 together was never really warranted. It's all obviously horrible in retrospect but if Nash doesn't get the freak injury which basically ended his career that team could have been something special once they figured each other out. With how stubborn Howard was about posting up at the time (even after he messed his back up) i'm not sure how good the chemistry would have gotten even with winning though.

I did too but you know what the problem was? D12 was not a top 5 player - we thought when we got him we basically got today’s version of AD.

The other problem was that Nash was DONE DONE. Burnt well done steak done. Oh and Pau was still in that someone banged my wife mode and I don’t want to play here.

Luckily for us Kobe went beast mode that year - but we were a huge mess. Should’ve finished under .500. It was basically Kobe Meeks and Clark.

Another all-around, solid game by KCP. He has rebounded from his early season slump and is playing at a high level.
He knows his role and he does it the right way. He doesn't seem to force things anymore; he's playing within the flow of the game.

He scored 11 points (4-of-6 FGs) 3 rebounds, 1 assist and two 3-pointers. His defense has been good too.

FYI: KCP is 11th in the NBA 3 point accuracy @ 43.3% and is right at 80% on FT's.

Same here greenfrog. KCP found his game and he's playing really solid ball. Credit to KCP for this, and if the coaching staff had anything to do with this, kudos to them as well.

I think the knowledge last year that the team was going nowhere made it really hard to be 110% motivated like he is this year
