He got away with two hooks/chicken wings. Coulda been 8.

That Brice Johnson postup and dunk over Lonzo the other day showed that they're not calling hooks in summer league.

Just had to chime in, WOW. OK this guy's got some game in him after all. Line him up with some real pros and get your popcorn.

I was a tad worried about Lonzo Ball. Not anymore. He's shown he's worth tuning in to watch. Wow. Wow. wow.

hey..

Do we keep Caruso on the roster..

he's actually not bad.... he can shoot the ball... wouldn't be the worst last guy on the bench we could have..

I'd keep Caruso for sure, dude has almost the passing talent of Kendal Marshall but can shoot and play D a little.

What did he say?

Great player but not a great match for the Lakers, needs the ball in his hands and needs to play his way...does not listen the coaches in game, can get isolated when he doesn't get his way…

Starters: Lonzo PG /KCP SG

Hart and Clarkson off the bench

Caruso as your spare tire

3 guys on the bench are combo guards so they can play 1 or 2

Let the kids play!

Another fun game to watch. Something really entertaining watching Ball get to work. Also really liked how he stepped up again and again at the end.

LeBron checking in ahead to see his team next year.

This is where summer league can sometimes be a mirage. Yes, a guy that's a little older with several years of experience looked pretty good. But its fools gold - its like watching a high school senior dominate a freshman.

I would prefer others, but if hes a 14 or 15 guy on the roster, so be it. But guys like him usually don't pan out to be much.

Yep, this almost in synch with Brandon haywards criticism that he couldn't turn the corner / would have issues getting past his man

if he could add a floater it would be great

He's got one. Just hasn't used it in SL.

Caruso's 23 years old (the same age as top-40 draft picks like Derrick White, Semi Ojeleye, and Frank Mason), had a productive "rookie" season in the D-League, and will be the 16th man on the roster on a non-guaranteed two-way deal.
