Legit sniper! Hope we sign him.

Sometimes he tries to do too much (which you can coach!) but good god can he shoot.

Send him to the Bruce Bowen school of dirty plays, and we've got an NBA player!

Same. Now I wish we would have signed Matt Thomas instead of Caruso. But I like that Caruso plays some D.

The stuff that he tries to do too much can easily be coachable and fixed.

His 3s are automatic. If he continues to work out, he will always have a rotational spot in the league. What he did in SL was Korver/Redick stuff on offense.

Thomas may make JC expendable. Do the Lakers really need JC backing up KCP or is a combination of Hart & Thomas enough?

Thomas's game is nothing like JC's game....Blue is similar to JC.

I want to see where he gets with NBA level training. He's totally elite in the shooting department and has decent size to get his shot off over taller defenders. If the Lakers don't pick him up, some team probably will. He needs to improve his ball handling, defense navigation (didn't recover from screens and got lost a few times). Basically a carbon copy of JJ Reddick this summer league, minus the pump fake dynamics. Had one sequence where he threw his body into a defender and drew the foul call. I think he has NBA level instincts that need to be honed. I am intrigued with this guy.

We need shooting. Check. I don't think his shooting skills went unnoticed. Someone will try to steal him if we don't.

That said, given he fits exactly what we need, I don't see him going anywhere.

Thomas is an amazing shooter. That might be all he can do, but, damn, loved watching it.

Magic definitely noticed Thomas today too. He was seen clapping a few possessions with Thomas knocking down his shots.

That really isn't the point. Do the Lakers need somebody with JC's game as the backup at the SG position-or is someone who will help space the floor a better match for what the Lakers are building?

Matt Thomas is averaging 20 points and shooting 14-16 from deep over the last three games. Dude deserves a two-way contract

Unheard of... even in the summer league. He's only missed 2 three pointers in the last 3 games.
