This could essentially mean that there is a Clarkson trade on the table and we are adding Blue as a JC replacement.

Is there anything you have ever seen and didn't think it could mean a trade is looming?

Serious question.

I just love to speculate what might be on the Horzion, the new FO is also not messing around which makes me think we are gonna pull off another training camp.

I agree.
I guarantee there will be a training camp this year.

You think we might have a training camp?

If they do, we should call you Nostradamus.

What I meant is that this new FO seems to operate much more fluidly, so a trade might happen to acquire expiring or expirings.

But you said the same sort of things last season. Doesnt seem to matter how fluid or viscous the FO seems.

One is good at D and the other good at O; both, D & O, needed
to win...plus, Blue could D-up but in past years he was to focused on
scoring.

I'm glad he gets the opportunity, he's paid his dues in the D-league. Now
it's up to him.

I was surprised by his play in the SPL. Like most, I thought he was just a D League shooter, but he showed some maturity and clutch game. I grew to admire his play. Like to see Nwaba back too.

I think there trying very hard to trade Deng, so we might see another move.

VB may just be camp fodder and receiving a well-deserved paycheck. However he expanded his game during SL and will make a determined run for a roster spot.

Don't count him out. He is basically Lou Williams-lite. He should, at least, earn the last two-way contract.

I am excited for him and look forward to him continuing his career as a Laker.

He's evolving and maturing, and I think the deal he received reflects that fact in the eyes of the FO. He really impressed me in the SL with his ability to stay in the team context, and still deliver that scoring he's so noted for. Like this.

ah the good old a b 3

As easy as 1-2-C.

As simple as do-re-gee, 1-2-c, a-b-3

Glad to see the young man get paid and a chance to compete at camp for his efforts. But if he ever sees the floor in a regular season game it is because an injury or a salary dump trade leaves the guard position thin. Maybe both.

Wish him luck. Maybe he earns that end of the bench towel waving role. At least his speed and offense in practice will defensively test our young players ahead of him on the roster.

Agreed, it's a good situation for all parties involved.

He played selfishly at the start of summer league, later on however he seems to have bought into playing team-ball, not thrilled with this signing, hope he doesn't resort back to his selfish ways now that he's officially on the team.
