Did anyone see the article in hoops hype where the Lakers offered Odom to the Knicks for Penny(his ending contract 15.4 mil) and Channing Frye. They turned it down but what do you guys think of the offer? Obviously Odom seems to be on thin ice. |

Numerous different threads already exist about Odom to New York offer. Lots of speculation in each of them. |

Yeah, and you believe this why? Is it because the New York Knicks and their media spread false offers for their players, in addition to "close" deals for other studs they're allegedly trading their crap for EVERY SINGLE YEAR? This is not new. The Knicks constantly put rumors out there that have them obtaining this guy, or that guy, or rejecting this guy or that guy. The truth is probably that they offered Frye and Hardaway for Odom (a player Larry Brown LOVES by the way) and THEY were turned down.
Think about it. The rumor makes absolutely NO sense. Frye scores less than Lamar, averages a little over 1/2 the rebounds, 1/6 th the number of assists, blocks less shots and is a non-existent defender. You think Phil and Kobe want cap space instead of HELP? Come on. You gotta think about these things and recognize when the public is being played. Hoopsype is merely regurgitating the rumor spread by the New York Post. |

NY is expensive.
Most reporters don't make much, so they sell weed on the side.
They're trying to get the ball rolling on an Odom trade |
