He's a FA in 2007 / 2008 not sure you guys would want him but if we can get a front-court player before the deadline the only thing we would need is a PG and we would be in contention. |

I totally agree. Getting Mike Bibby to be our point guard would be a very good choice. Kobe Bryant would be our first scoring option, then Bibby, Lamar, Bynum, Kwame. If Kwame can become a legit rebounder we would have a serious contender next year. |

His defense is worse than Chucky Atkins. |

I'll pass on acquiring team dime. _________________ "I was laying myself on the line by saying, if this doesn't work in three to four years, if we're not back on the top then I will step down because that means I have failed,"

Bibby and Kobe are good friends. I'd love to get Bibby, but I just don't think it'll happen, and unless one of our young guys really developed in the front court, I'd rather see us spend big money there.
Bibby's defense is NOT worse than Atkins...though it's not that much better. |

Isn't this like the 17th time Bibby's name has come up? Are the Lakers doing a promo next year with Gonzo and Fozzy, is that why everyone is so anxious to get him? |

Defense wins Championships and Bibby doesn't do that. He's also too ugly to be a Laker. |

Bibby is in a league all by himself. He's beyond ugly, he's fugly. Even Queens fans say he is a disgrace to the pg position. He's basically an undersized two guard that plays zero defense. |

Phil hates his ducky dance. Phil would reject him back to Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me. |

Looks and voice aside, Mike Bibby is top 3 PG's in the league when it comes passing and jump shots. He is a confident player who steps up when it counts and is consistant even when it doesn't. Not only would I love Bibby on this team, but I would give up Lamar Odom to obtain him. |

Just a side note: I was playing NBA live last year in my dynasty mode, and i did a straight up trade odom for bibby. It worked out nicely. But, like i saidthought i'd bring it up. |

Top three? I can name ten point guards better than Bibby. Bibby doesn't know how to pass if his life depended on it. |

Bibby makes the "most hated" list easy. He's a no-class punk, has no defense, and he's hard on the eyes to boot.

Why in the world would they make such an offer? _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu3vkwP3GHQ |

I don't want Kobe tripping over Bibby's fingernails clippings along the bench, and busting his head.
Because that would upset me, and then I would have to burn things. |

I assumed as much. After the upcoming trade, which from the rumors mentioned here, I'm thinking might be Kmart, would they do either of these trades:
Odom for Miller and Bibby
or, if Artest is slightly unhappy there:
Kwame + 1 for Artest
Odom + Smush for Bibby
Obviously, the Kwame trade is simply for 1 for 1 to CBA. |
