Need some trade advice dudes. I was just offered:

Le'Veon + Terrell Pryor + Jarvis Landry

for my

Todd Gurley + Deandre Hopkins

I'm torn! What should I do?

Take it, the Rams schedule gets tough and I would rather have Cutler throwing to Landry than Watson to Hopkins.

Yep I just accepted it! I made sure to sign James Connor to handcuff Le'Veon as well.

You got the better end of the deal IMO. Nicely done!

^ yea thats is a pretty good trade. Gurleys schedule is going to be hard for some weeks.

I’m having trouble deciding who to start as my flex..need some advice please.

Would you start Tarik Cohen vs Pit or JJ Nelson vs Dal. I’m leaning towards Tarik

I'd go with Tarik myself. But it would depend on the rest of my roster and my matchup. If I'm going against a much better team with better matchups, I may go JJ. Otherwise, I'm going Tarik.

To me, Tarik has a higher floor and lower ceiling, while JJ is the opposite.

Losing work now to Orleans Darkwa, and this confirms what my eyes were seeing about Perkins...

Paul Perkins has been brought down by first contact 88% of the time. This ranks worst among all running backs with at least 20 carries.

He's pretty much a drop at this point, maybe even in deeper leagues.

Not a lot there. I'll be using mine on kickers and DSTs since I stream those.

If I had a spot for a flyer, I'd nab wendell smallwood.

Can't believe I debated for a second, dropping him for Derrick Henry.

In my other draft, I hemmed and hawed over Perkins or Kareem Hunt, pre Spencer Ware injury. Bahahahha.

Luckily, I had drafted RBs early so I went for long term and took Hunt. If I had gone receiver heavy, I may have opted to take a starter instead.

Ha! That's crazy but who could've seen Hunt being this good. He looks like he might put together an all-time fantasy season.

True at this point its getting hard to find flyers gotta wait for injuries (like in smallwoods case). I love to follow players who I think are supremely talented but blocked and just wait for them to show signs of breaking out. For instance, this year I am watching a lot of Derrick Henry, Sterling Shepard, Corey Coleman (pre hand break), etc.

Agreed. Actually more than Smallwood, a better stash on second count this week would be D'onta Foreman.

Picking up Hoyer because Brees has a bye week 5.

Lankford on the Bears last year was just as bad, virtually no YAC.

True. But at least he had one monster game in his career.

Yup. If he's available, he'd be my top choice. Lamar Miller sucks.

I like Matt Breida of the 49ers. Hyde ALWAYS gets hurt, and Shanahan knows how to get production out of his RB's. Breida has looked good to me whenever he's received carries. If you have room to stash a guy like that, I like him.

Miller sucks for sure, but I don't think Foreman is really significantly better -- let's just say he's no Kareem Hunt.

I definitely see him getting an increased workload week to week, but I don't think he really evolves in to the true alpha in that backfield unless Miller gets hurt. He's more of a handcuff to Miller than a lottery ticket.

If you want a lotto ticket, banking on an inevitable Hyde injury and picking up Breida like ChickenStu said might be the best option. Throw Branden Oliver in that category too (he's not as talented though, and coming off an achilles).

Darkwas looked like the best back in that backfield by far. Perkins might be out of the league next year

Yeah Oliver is not a bad bench stash, because I feel like he would get most of the work in the event of a Gordon injury. However, I'd keep expectations in check because I doubt they would feature him in scoring position the way that they do Gordon, and he's not an overly talented guy to begin with. He'd probably be a low-end RB2/flex play if Gordon got injured. That's still playable, but I think Breida would be better if he were the starter, more like an every-week RB2.

Someone mentioned Smallwood earlier and I think he's a decent get this week, as he seems most likely to take on the Sproles role of being the pass-catching back (Clement and obviously Blount are not built for that). So in PPR, I like Smallwood as a pickup for sure. In standard, it's a bit more messy, but he's still worth a shot. In deep leagues, Clement might even be worth a pickup. I assume Blount is probably already owned in most leagues.

I also might consider Alfred Morris. Elliott's next court hearing with the NFL is Oct. 2. If the ruling goes against Elliott, which would likely take place a week or 2 later, then Morris seems like he would be in position to get the majority of the work, since McFadden hasn't even been active yet. I think Morris looked decent this preseason and would probably do OK over the course of 6 games, though I don't have the schedule in front of me right now to look at Dallas' matchups. There are worse fliers to have right now IMO than Morris.

Poor Giants. Haha..Remember David Wilson? Man, I still remember being stoked to get him in the 2nd or 3rd round a few years ago and he did nothong at all.

I think another sneaky pickup could be Paul Richrdson depending on Baldwins groin. Back to back touchdowns and if Baldwin misses time he should see more looks.

Yeah, the Seahawks have a good matchup next week (vs Indy) and if Baldwin is out, Richardson is Wilson's #1 target, and he's coming off a MONSTER game against a solid D. His ceiling is probably a flex if Baldwin is in though, but he's worth a stash for sure.

Just offered someone Zeke and Murray for Brady and Dalvin Cook in a 2QB league

Hopefully Murrays game on Sunday is enough to sell relatively high, although part of me feels like I'm giving up a lot.

There is no reason for that person to accept that trade, IMO.
