Ok after 7 games (and a few seasons), which will be All Stars: Zo, Kuz, Randle, JC, BI?

Do you guys think all can still be all stars? Guys like randle I think have potential, but may have to accomplish being an all star on another team etc

L.A. fans don't vote enough
I say Zo and Kuz have the best chances down the line.

Think BI has good a chance being an allstar as zo and Kuz. He’s same age as Zo and not physically developed yet. Put some muscle on him and he’s getting around guys at will and finishing through contact.

Lonzo is the only one remotely able to get the fan vote. That’s literally the only way we will have someone in the game.

Edit: talking about this year.

Randle's the best player on the team atm, but if you mean in the future, probably lonzo. he's already got the star attention

Kuzma runs the floor very well, spots up, and moves capably without the ball, but forwards who can't face up and create their own shots don't usually become all-stars (unless they are lockdown defenders or rebounders).

BI can put on 10-15 lbs over the next couple years without sacrificing quickness. Definite all-star potential, but probably not intense enough, maybe just an 18/8/4 guy.

Ball seems destined as soon as his shot starts falling, but it won't happen this year. Best chance of all.

Randle may yet become a poor man's Draymond w/o a jumper, but I can't see him being an all-star. Clarkson's ceiling is 6th man.

Lonzo and Ingram are easily the most likely to make multiple All Star appearances. Randle and Kuzma have the potential to make an All Star roster.

It’s not like MLB where everybody makes the all star game. JC has 0 chance randle would have to play on a god awful team where he put up ridiculous numbers so doubtful there too. Lonzo can do it, because after he gains weight and matures he can be a J Kidd type player. BI I would say maybe but he also needs 2-3 more years before we even see what /who he is

you do not see Ingram as a potential all star in 4-6 years in his prime? I would lean toward putting money on Ingram being a multiple time All Star.

Well, the OP didn't exactly specify the time frame.

The only reason why the time frame matters is that if we hit on 2 max plan, Ingram sort of slides into the background until said 2 max guys start declining. It could be 3-4 years of this while Lonzo is still starting.

This is particularly cute coming from a poster who hated a player last year on the Lakers.

Who is hating here? Making an all star appearance in the West is tremendously difficult.

You have to take into account Lonzo's in-built marketing machine. Ingram? Outside of LA, who is really paying attention to him? Plus, the "downside" of getting 2 max players (if there is even such a thing) is that Ingram is relegated to a lesser role for a few more years (which isn't the worst thing IMO).
