IMO the D-Wade to LA was more hype than anything and is a pipe dream.

Maybe he'll try to hook up with LBJ this season and follow him here after the season. maybe, maybe not.

He lives in Los Angeles with His wife Gab Union it makes sense.

Plus the Lakers organization is on a nice upswing with Magic running the ship.

Brand new state of the art practice facility with Gunnar Peterson running the show. Dwyane is really tight with Peterson as well.

I see it as a win win situation and plus we gotta win as many games possible this season. I do not want to see Boston drafting our pick.

I don't know so I am not saying it is wrong, but he and his wife live in LA but their kids live in Miami? That is bizarre if true.

That's what I'm saying. He had 2 with his ex wife and an "oops" baby with a "side chick."

Silly Wabbit...

the 30 others who voted "NO" did so because they know that at this late stage in his career, there is no way in heck he is signing with a struggling team..

Hello Cav's...

What's actually funny is that the Lakers culture and environment is much better then the Cavs right now, I don't think fans are voting no because of your take, they voted no because they think he wouldn't make a difference and he's better off going to Miami were he can excel in a place he started his career.

I also think we are passing on Wade cause of something possibly in the works, emplay said the Shabazz signing will open up another move possibly.

I can't see us bringing in Wade, to be one of 3 shooting guards. I guess if he was bought out, and came here for the exception, that might be possible, sort of a "scout" for Lebron , to tell him how it is working under Luke and Magic.

Now a trade of say Clarkson and Brewer would make sense, if the Bulls would value a young SG coming in, and since they lost Butler, maybe they are interested.

If Wade does come here though, I think that would really up the Lebron to LA speculation.

If Lebron leaves nobody will be signing for the Cavs for a long time......

Yep, they will basically be the Clippers or Utah of the East.

I don't think Chicago wants to take on any salary, so the option will likely be buying out Wade instead of taking on a contract.

Seems like the Heat are only bringing Wade back if he's willing to accept a bench role.

I think unless the Cavs guaranteed him a start, it'd come down between LA and MIA but it seems he's destined for a bench role unless he stays in Chicago.

Any chance the Bulls accept this offer?

Deng, Clarkson, Zubac, 2020 1st round pick, future 2nd round pick for Wade, Robin Lopez.

We can stretch out the remaining 13m on Lopez deal at the end of the season, which is much cheaper than stretching the 36 that would remain for Deng.

Thoughts?

I still don't see the bulls buying him out until later in the year.

I think at this point in his career, that's the role almost all teams would offer except for the Cavs but even then he may be their 6th man.

I'm guessing that would be the thought here. KCP has to start.

When is the last time a team bought out a 20m+ player preseason? That's a lot of $ to pay. I would think the bulls look to trade first for expiring deals and a 2nd rounder.

I not one of those people who quote fans as what the team could or should thinking, but Chicago fans seems to have this "get rid of him asap" mentality and in many cases are the ones pushing for a trade including JC or Deng.

I just cannot see Deng as a traceable player but I could see them taking on JC.

I wouldn't give up any significant assets to get Wade - and I still hate him for the punk move of intentionally injuring Kobe in the ASG - but I'd take him if it guaranteed LBJ coming.

I would do Jc/brewer 2nd rounder for Wade. Jc is likely traded anyways. Deng is a separate issue.

Wouldn't Miami take on more salary taking Deng for Wade?
