Next year, hopefully we have 2 max players to take that mantle. But this year, who you got? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I think Kuz offers the best array of 3s/posts/drives, etc., a complete package. If I need someone to score I'm going with him right now. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Can you define scoring option? More plays run for? More ISOs? Both?
I say more plays for kuz but not more ISOs.
Would love plays run for BI as well, not just ISOs.
But then again isn't our offense about making reads off of sets and not running plays? |

It's whatever you define it.
Last shot of game.
primary scorer.
whatever. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Right, because I am such a big fan of him. Read my reply and simple common sense would tell you that I didn’t vote on any of the choices offered. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I never liked the idea of predetermined scoring options. I prefer an offense that caters to the teams strengths and has options when teams try to shut down those strengths. Ideally we would be like the Detroit championship team or SA where they just run an unselfish offense that is just as effective in the playoffs as in the regular season. |

It’s one thing if you have a superstar offensive option but when you don’t, you have to grind out points where you can. Though offense still takes a backseat to defense. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Brook obviously. He's been great for us. You guys just can't see his amazing intangibles. |

It's not "predetermined" per se, but just the guy you would want to have the ball if we need a bucket, or needed to score. At this point, I think Kuz has such a refined array of scoring moves that none of our other guys have. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Except those teams still had number 1/2 options as well. Billups/Hamilton, and Spurs with Duncan/Parker.
Let's not act every player on those teams was an equal 13+ scorer with no go-to guys. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

I wonder if teams will start taking away BI's drives (Knicks did that with 2 7 footers, Houston seemed to wall off the middle well against BI). What's BI's counter to that?
Kuz has so many ways of scoring that it's hard to stop him by taking away his preferred method of scoring. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I don't think that kuzma has the ability to go out and just get you buckets at any given moment though. While he is probably the most Advance score, I don't think he can create points for himself at will or as easily as most of his bucket scum within the offense whether it's off of a swing pass catch-and-shoot or a pump fake and attack. He doesn't get those at the end of a game when kuzma is forced to dribble and create it does not often result in a good shot or a good result in my opinion kuzma is a third option a superstar third option similar to the way Klay Thompson is.
The I can create and get to the Rim at will, but he does not have the counter moves or the jumpshots who consistently make the shots at the end of the game. Personally I go with the eye if it came down to a choice between the two, but personally I think it would be best to go with the team approach just like vlf said. We have too many guys who can get hot and have big games and has shown Killer Instincts at the end of the game such as JC kuzma bi and even Lonzo earlier in the season in the Phoenix game. I think the team as a whole the players have come to recognize that bi is the guy they feel confident and getting the ball too late in games, but the best route would be to feed the hot hand and not be so predictable by feeding Ingram and his drives to the rim. |

Ingram and Kuz as 1a and 1b
Though I do think Brook is better than he has been the last couple of weeks, I really think his back has been bothering him again, just doesn't looks as fluid as he did in November |

I feel like ever since BI's monster game against the Warriors the first time around, he's been forcing it when driving. Consistently been getting multiple shots blocked in the paint or throwing it out of bounds at the last second creating a turnover. But it seems he is now more reliable with the midrange J. |
