nice interview. surprised at the end of the interview when he talked about know some of zubac's past coaches and he "speaks the same
language". checked wikipedia and found out his parents are croatian. this could be a role model for Ivica. _________________ Darvin

Dude is the most realist player when giving interviews. Knows the ups and downs of playing with young team and knows even though he brings defensive mentality, everyone playing on the floor is responsible to be a good defensive team. I liked the honesty and not trying to give politically correct answer to the camera.
He spoke very well at Media Day, hope he does well!
Of course, with a broken foot and one hand behind his back he could be as good as MozGoof...! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”
Bogut is a better rim protector and Defensive big then Moz.
And a better passer. Luke got some really bad intel on Moz.
It's not like Moz was completely awful, he was vital part in our 10-10 start and was playing solid basketball, but yeah it seems like Bogut is more better and is getting payed 2M.
Watching some of his highlights with Dallas & GSW, and his passing ability/ rim protection is on point. He plays physical, which is much needed teaching point for a young team. I really like the Bogut signing. Unselfish veteran with great skills for a 5.
Here a listen to 1 of his media day clips.
Talks about what he brings to LA, Luke, playing time, health. Pretty good listen.
Rumor last season was Luke had his hand in that signing also.
I thought about that too. He & Mitch were supposed to have been very, very high on him. As a matter of fact, my recollection is that Luke was the primary reason we went after him. Not a problem, but it was a mistake.
If healthy, Bogut brings so much to the table that we need: another intelligent defensive player, a mean streak, great length, and real shot blocking, not just verticality, which was Moz's style of defending the paint.
Andrew Bogut (groin) is expected to be ready to play for the season opener next week. "It is not very serious," Luke Walton said. "He is doing better and better every day... I would expect that by the end of the week he is out there at least on the court again... we expect him back by the start of the season for sure."
