It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected from the reviews and the costumes. I like the cast and Lockjaw. Will watch again.

Watched it this morning. My expectations were set really low because of all the negative reviews. I liked it but can see why people who paid money to see it in IMAX were disappointed as it's clearly made for TV. The first two episodes were mostly setup for the rest of the season so if you're expecting a lot of Marvel superhero action, it falls way short for a movie experience.

The FX in the first two episodes wasn't impressive even by TV standards and there wasn't a whole lot of it in either episode. You barely get to see what the Inhumans can do other than LockJaw and the bad Medusa hair effects you've heard so much about.

I think the story will be good and I like the cast. AoS started off really slow as well but I trust ABC/Marvel will make this work after seeing what they did with that show and Agent Carter, even with low-budget FX.

Curious to see how ABC/Marvel's "Inhumans" stacks up against Fox's X-Men universe "The Gifted" which debuts on Monday.
