Man. I'm glad I recorded those summer league games lol. They were a thing of beauty to watch from an offensive standpoint haha.

I, too, wish the Lakers had signed Matt Thomas.. heck if Steve Novak can carve out a career lol.. I'm sure he could have too.

Things will get better as they begin to focus a bit more on the offensive sets. I know it's a fun thing to talk about defense.. but as-is the team doesn't have the defensive studs to really make a dramatic change over the course of one season. Not to say that they shouldn't focus on defense at all lol.. please dont twist up my words.

I was on that wagon quick. When they signed Caruso, I was like "they signed the wrong guy"!. Caruso looks good for the contract he has though, but I would have liked to see Thomas developed. I'm sure he's making more money where he's at though.

Thomas shot insane during Vegas, but had ZERO as soon as he began a dribble.

Its a great system for him. He'll be shooting open 3s all year.

8-9 from the field, 6-7 from 3, lead GSW in scoring.

But guess what, had the worst +/- on the team and they lost.

This is one reason why was so happy when Nick left, just empty numbers. How in the world can you have an almost perfect offensive night and lead the defending champs in scoring and have the worst +/- on the team? Because of everything else BESIDES scoring. I'm sure he's in the locker room all pleased with himself right now..after a loss. Not a winning player..

Nick Young is a proven 3 point shooter and Lou Williams ain't bad.

Thankfully, the team would never let its top shooters go.

For sure, man. Swaggy shooting 6 of 7 from 3 had way more to do with them losing than not having Draymond in the 4th or Iggy for the entire game.

I saw the 4th. Gordon abused him on defense.

not sure which game you watched....but GSW loses by a lot more if not for Nick's great performance.

I mean they make Zaza and McGee look good. You didn't think Young would look good?

gotta give credit where credit is due....6 of 7 from 3 is more than just who he is playing with....that is just a pure shooter on a good night.

Slow Lo-pez being our best 3-point shooter is very concerning and ugly to watch.

We're probably going to end up being the worst 3 point shooting team in the league this season. Lopez is probably our best shooter and he's barely average.

The other day on 710, Ireland asked mychal Thompson who the Lakers best shooter was. His first answer was Nance. Ireland specified that he was asking about 3 pointers and Thompson hesitated and said "hmmm..Ennis?"

Shooting is a huge problem.

And ironically KCP is currently considered one of our “best” 3-point shooters..... he’s averaging 31% from 3’s this season.
