You look at this lineup and Brookie can't come back fast enough. Need some shooting out there.

I just want to see some jumpers made. I hope it's not too much to ask. Baby steps. Hopefully, Lopez could help with defensive presence in the middle once he starts cuz Zubac ain't intimidating anyone in the middle.

He did post a rpm of 1.89 in the 2015-2016 Season. Last year wasn't a great year for him, he has a lot to prove

Actually Deng had one of his best drpm seasons(1.54) in 2017 but his orpm fell off a cliff

The only way he returns to his Miami level is if he gets minutes at the 4. Unlikely to happen without a trade/injury of Nance or Randle. He gets slower every year now, and not expecting much from him. However, ANY veteran typically looks better than young guys in the preseason unless they are just going thru the motions of it, which Deng surely will not be.

That's bull, if the Lakers had to play Deng at the 4, I'm sure they can use Nance and Randle at the 5 and find a way to give minutes to Deng at PF, yeah trading 1 of our PFs will make it easier but I'm sure as it currently stands they can find minutes for Deng at the 4

Its time to admit he was an awful signing. He wont be on the lakers next year.

How do you plan on getting rid of Deng? Packaging another young asset with him? I don't think so.

Not gonna lie, I've already lost hope for these guys playing good defense. I'm going for the offensive explosion.

Thuggets 124

He was a awful signing in terms of what kind of envorinment the Lakers put him in. he's not someone who can change a teams fortunes in a season, but if you surround him with quality guys like we have done this year he can make a difference.

I would want the Lakers to become a run-and-gun team as well but after seeing them shoot jumpers last game, I don't think it's a good idea. Can't play D and can't shoot jumpers. We could be in for a long year.

There's a very good reason why Phil Jackson didn't like playing rookies. I feel bad for Luke having to coach a team full of them. I can only hope that our rookies and sophmores mature quickly and hopefully we sign some decent veterans in the offseason, aka PG13.

Last time he wore Kobe’s shoes, he dropped 36 with the mamba mentality. I’m expecting a lot of buckets from Lonzo tonight

Looked like Lonzo & Ingram did team captain duties again tonight (even though players haven't voted for captains yet)
