I would rather see a 1 on 1 round robin tournament to crown the king of the hill. That might actually mean enough to get the players to play hard.
Imagine the matchups:
LeBron vs. Kyrie
Steph vs Westbrook
KD vs Westbrook
KD vs LeBron
Giannis vs Kawhi
Harden vs Wall
Those dudes going at it would be infinitely more entertaining than a couple "teams" hot dogging it and conceding baskets. |

Not really. It's an exhibition game that showcases the talent in each conference. There's also an underlying competitiveness for each conference to prove their supremacy. But when you have maybe 3 legit all stars in the eastern conference then you have to come up with dumb stuff like this. |
