I'm very confident that PG is coming to L.A., and I expect LeBron to also. Hopefully the Lakers can find a way to hold on to JR. Even without picking up anybody else, a 10-man rotation of Lonzo, BI, PG, LeBron, Randle, Kuz, Hart, Zu, Bryant, and Caruso would be tremendous:

Lonzo/BI/Caruso
BI/PG/Hart
PG/LeBron/Hart
LeBron/Kuz/Randle
Randle/Zu/Bryant

I am salivating at the suffocating defense, especially in the playoffs when LeBron kicks into higher gear after cruising a bit in the regular season. To be honest, I think this team could win the championship next year.

If all of our young guys played to their (year appropriate) ceilings...I agree, we could compete with the Warriors next year.
If Lonzo shot from 3 what he shot in his last 18games,yup. If Ingram became an average 3pt shooter on more attempts.. and picked up his defense
Kuz , Hart, and Randle are hugeee unexpected big contributers to this puzzle/recruitment now. I'd love to see how Randle matches Draymond's energy for a series.

We'd have the length and athleticism necessary to compete with the Warriors. So much longer and potentially better defensively than the new Cavs.

Zo could be a better defender next year than Hill is this year , taller and longer(reach)
Ingram could be a better defender than Hood.
Paul George would be the best wing defender that Lebron's ever had in CLE
Randle is a much better defender than K. Love
Josh Hart could be a great defender next year
All of that length and potential defense is what you need to compete with GS..CLE has so much less than what we would.

........ and Kuz could be effectively 90% of Kevin Love offensively.. 2nd year guys are always better on D too

We would have so many pieces.

I think Ingram is already a better defender than Hood. ZO might be a better defender than Hill has been this year.

Add Robert Horry to the “PG13 is going to the Lakers” group.

He said it on the radio this weekend.

PG is keeping everyone guessing. I doubt he has a
decision made at this point in the season.

I think the decision was made before the season even started. Everything else is just window dressing.

With All-Star tomorrow and Paul George about to hit free agency, it’s time to address the belief that SoCal superstars all want to come home when its time for a new contract. Is it myth?

Why should he....he wants to be wooed, wined and dined. Players that don't show their cards get teams to bend over backwards during free agency to make presentations on why they should join their team. If you are a free agent you want to be perceived as wanted and having value. I mean if you heard of the ridiculous presentations lately, it shows how much power you have to change the destiny of an organization.

This.
I won't deny he's been a great player for a long, long time but the Lakers don't need to be chasing stars on the wrong side of 30 at this point. The CP3, LeBron players from that era just don't fit the timeline tbh esp when younger franchise players will be coming available the next year and a half in FA.

Probably not. Unless he already made a promise to him and then breaks his promise. There might be bad blood for awhile if that happened. Otherwise I am sure he would want him to be happy in his decision.

If we have We want Paul chants... we need to have We want LeBron chants...

Not because I'm in love with the idea of him coming here... but to cover our bases in case he's been the FA we've been clearing room for and not Paul

Don't want to offend him, if Paul wasn't coming and LBJ was... then we might end up with neither.

And watch him get bent over in process just like the people who got bent over in Cleveland and Miami that's what LeBron does to other people's front offices
