Or no anything. They're better and faster without him. |
U think so? They can’t sign anybody else, Boogie can still be an ass |

I take it you’re not on the boogie train... even at a discount? |

Might have been worth a risk if it was just the attitude and questionable work ethic, depending on how deep of a discount we're talking. Add in the torn Achilles? No way no how. |

Lakers get: Tyus Jones
Kings get: Luel Deng, #25, 2019 Wolves 1st (unprotected) and 2019 Bulls 2nd
Wolves get: Hart and Zubac
Why for Lakers?
1. Dump Deng's contract (On July 1st, we would have the ability to sign James, George and Randle).
2. Zubac doesn't seem to be in the Lakers plans. Jones could be a decent back up point guard.
Why for Kings?
1. The Wolves pick could be a decent pick and it is unprotected. They could draft someone like Jontay Porter with #25. The Bulls 2nd should be a low 2nd,
2. They utilize their cap space, they probably wont sign anyone of significance with it.
Why for Wolves?
1. Thibbs loves Hart and Zubac is a player that could excel in their slow offense. |
I don't see the Wolves giving up Jones and a future 1st in that deal. |

Every team is better without Boogie.
Lakers shouldn't think about signing him. |

ESPN radio saying LeBron coming to the Lakers isn’t crazy talk anymore and has a good chance of happening.

Yeah, coming off the injury, I just don't see Boogie as a realistic fit. If we sign PG and still have room for one max, I'd rather not trade Deng (and, thus, keeping the draft capital that we would've had to part with to trade him), and then use the remaining cap space on either value contracts or taking an expiring bad contract or 2 and getting yet another 1st rounder out of it. |

Lakers are coming to themselves? Major scoop. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

This is illogical. LeBron would have to be the one who turns them down, not the other way around. |
If I have PG signed up and I know that KL is coming next summer, I’m definitely passing on Lebron, as KL and PG is a better fit with our young core and gives us a longer title window, with those extra years being years where the Ws are going to be fading.
Assuming his health is good, KL is younger, brings less drama/baggage, and impacts the game on both ends. Lebron doesn’t even try to get back on D sometimes. That doesn’t fit well with the culture we’re trying to build.
If you aren’t sure KL is coming, then you sign Lebron if he wants in, but if I have a choice and they both want in, I’m taking KL. |

Cousins and Anthony Davis couldn't win 50 games. Together they were on pace to win 45 games.
What makes you think any team with Cousins can win 50 games? |

How on Earth do you figure a guy who sat out an entire season and won't communicate with his team brings less drama and baggage? Kawhi is the epitome of baggage and drama right now. And what makes us so sure he won't lose his mind again and sit out for us?

Ummm, he's carrying the load of the entire team. I am not sure why people think that if his load is dramatically lightened (which it would be with multiple ball handlers) that he's going to give no effort on the defensive side. I mean maybe he doesn't, but getting less minutes and playing more off ball will necessarily mean he's got more in the tank to play both sides. |

If LBJ wants to be a Laker there is no way I see Magic turning him down, even for a chance at KL in 2019. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

no, no, no....you can't sign Cousins. Remember??? He is coming off of a major injury that most players never fully recover from. Bad thought, bad move. Not going to happen. |

We aren't passing on LeBron if he wants to come here. If you got LeBron and PG, I could see the Lakers trying to swing a trade for Kawhi, since you can't possibly add him in free agency next year if you got both LeBron and PG. But the Lakers are not going to pass up LeBron saying "I want to sign here" for a shot at Kawhi next year. Next year is a long way away. Between the chance of Kawhi changing his mind, or not getting over this injury hump, there's just no way that the Lakers are turning down LeBron for the chance that a player that isn't a 100% sure thing might come next year in Kawhi. |

Agreed. Magic knows the importance of "star power", especially in LA. |
