It’s already out there, and I don’t see that meriting a tampering investigation. |
Lakers passing on LBJ would raise a lot of red flags around their contact with KL and his representatives. |
I think he is saying if Lebron passed on us. _________________ Previously LBJ23 |

Meh, I don’t think so. Teams are allowed to have a preference in players. |

I don't think it's that simple.
If Magic knows he's healthy and wants to come, KL is the better basketball choice, and for the past year, Magic has made the right basketball choice over and over, which is the opposite of what so many people said he would do. |
How will Magic know if Leonard is healthy before free agency in July? |
Because KL isn't a FA and if they are talking trade with the Spurs, the Spurs would let them view medical records. |
They aren’t talking trade with the Spurs. |
So why would they need to know if he is healthy before free agency if he isn't a free agent this season? |
According to some they would turn Lebron down, that decision has to be made in July. At which point they wouldn’t know about Leonard’s health. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Whether LeBron is a Laker next year is up to him and him alone. Magic could never resist that coup. And way too many what-ifs with Kawhi (what if he decides to take the max, what if his injury is debilitating) to turn down freaking Lebron James. |

I don't think Magic says no to Lebron, what's more likely is he sells Lebron that Lonzo/Ingram/Hart/Randle/Kuzma don't need to be traded, and he'll get prime Paul George.
Trading the young guys for a star isn't how the NBA works now, look at the Celtics. It's the system, they're young and have assets. The Lakers can be like that, trading Lonzo/Ingram makes the long term asset value of this team alot lower then it would seem like at the moment. That core behind your second best player can make your team 7 deep when you're talking about just the main guys that can play 30.
I think Magic/Pelinka are real smart, they'll try building the best possible team now without hurting our long term future. Magic Johnson is a Laker legend, he knows it's about building dynasties here not just teams with 2 or 3 year windows. They're building a structure/system with Luke as their main guy and want to develop an identity that propels them into a long term contender.
They'll make the best of their cap space, try to sign the best stars they can, develop young guys and make favorable trades. If they can get a superstar for Zo or BI, maybe they do it but I don't think they'll go all out in the way you guys think they will. |

Well, he did re-follow the Pelicans again, so there's that.
His lasts follows were:
- Pelicans
- George
- IT
- Randle
- Caron Butler (now working for the Lakers) _________________

Players are that childish with their social media where they'll follow/unfollow people do drop a hint...but that's reaching as of now - they probably are just all working out in LA and are becoming fast friends....... ... |

Nice hire. I expect the Bucks to be the 3rd or 4th best team in the East next year and give the Sixers and Celtics a run for their money.

I guess Cousins made peace with IT because he was the reason why IT left the Kings since Cousins didn't like his playing style apparently. I wouldn't mind IT off the bench and if Lonzo struggles on offense or doesn't have it, can play him in crunch time. Only on a 1 year deal for the most part. I wouldn't mind Cousins as that 3rd star with PG and/or LeBron, as nobody will give him the max off the achilles injury imo. I still think the Maginka plan is to get both Bron & PG, but a plan B of just PG, Cousins, IT, & re-signing Randle wouldn't be that bad, as I assume IT & Cousins would be short term deals, and Lakers can still be factors in 2019 free agency as well. |

At the very least to me. It means these guys are probably talking. A friend of mine knows a coach in the league. I won’t name names but when people’s follow each other on social media. They are talking and becoming friends. Whether it’s best friends or just acquaintances, I have no idea. |

Cousins should not be discussed here until we know the guy can even play again. He is injured. |

I will be content if our off season is PG/Cousins/IT nothing spectacular but we likely become a mid tier team in the WC. |

PG is an upgrade over KCP
Cousins is an upgrade over Brook
IT is an upgrade over Clarkson
Randle is still Randle
It's not as good as LBJ... but it ensures we will be better than last season. |

Maybe the reason why he didnt follow LeBron cause he’s still currently playing in the playoffs. |
