so much talk about PG being on atleast the 2nd team

Getting lit up by not just a rookie in Donovan Mitchell but Joe Ingles as well, didn't help his case.

Then you could put Klay Thompson there or even Chris Paul and it'd still be viable.

Wow, what did PG do to you? You've been on his butt for a few months Jim.

2 guards, 2 forwards, 1 center but they try to make it "point guard, shooting guard, forwards, center"

He played 21 minutes per game. All Defensive 2nd team? Over Klay? CP3?

Ehm., depends. Kind of hard to get that kind of bounce pass if a player doesn't have the height.

Outside of Doncic, it's this guy:

Why are the guys you chose the best "offensive" team?

Regardless that team wins. Covington is a huge weak link.

They were one of the first teams to embrace player rest. I imagine we will see more “nagging injuries” next season keeping a player out 3-4 games. And it has already been reported that they are looking to buy a second round pick. They aren’t the Big 3 with little help that Miami was.

You could make an argument for Lonzo being on a defensive team at the guard position considering the statistics that the pundits love so much, but they aren't gonna give him that.

I just picked highest scorers... I didn't go by efficiency which would make it even more unfair. AD is on both lists so I replaced him on the offensive team with KD who was second to AD at that position.

i'd take cp3, klay, rubio, simmons (since he basically played as a guard right?), smart over dejounte for backcourt defense.

and capela not making either team? phew. embiid was a total defensive liability vs boston.

If you replaced WB with Steph, that team wins by a landslide. Sweep, maybe a 5 game series.

I think he's part of the "what have you done for me lately". Dejounte basically had starting minutes since January.

OMG i have been there. jesus the patrick obryant/Udoh drafts

The Shaq/Kobe era was cut short by poor drafting as Mitch was railroaded a bit by Phil's "triangle ready players" fetish, but the young bench mob of the Kobe/Gasol teams was helpful even if they never yielded anything more than replacement level bench talent. Of course Mitch then sacrificed the future to chase one last high, which other recent championship level teams like Miami, Cleveland, Houston, etc. have followed.

Another reason it was cut short was because Doc Buss was stingy on the luxury tax. Imagine if he had locked Horace Grant up. Today’s owners aren’t as stingy when it comes to spending for players.

He missed roughly 30 games, so I wouldn't expect it.
