Same can be said for PG. that is why we need both teams to pile up loses..

They will match it unless out of desperation of not getting a star FA we throw some crazy max money at him...

i think they will match max contract for Lavine

~$25.5M for Zach?
I want Zach if we're getting Paul George.
But if Zach is the best FA we're getting this summer, I hope we're not offering him $25M.

whats your lineup if we get PG & Lavine?

i doubt ingram goes to the bench and PG13 has said he doest want to play 4

Lonzo . Lavine . PG . Larry . Cousins
BI is most likely traded. Kuzma is off the bench.

BI >> Lavine. my 2 cents. i don't see them trading Ingram to start Lavine at 2.

now if we can do this trade : lauri markkanen/Lavine/expirer for Ingram/Randle/Clarkson/zu

I am all up for it

How do you figure we make that line up possible then trade BI, and who are we trading him for...? Cause it doesn’t look like we would be getting any starting quality player in a BI trade.

BI isn’t going anywhere unless we can get LeBron or AD or maybe Giannis... you guys are seriously crazy for wanting to trade Ingram..

Anybody super athletic like Lavine you have to worry about his knees. He already has torn acl at age 21.

At this stage, I think Lavine is a better offensive player than BI.
There's a legit argument that BI's overall play is better than Lavine's.
It's just my belief that Lavine's play style fits with the Lakers offense better than BIs. Lavine's spot up, off screens and transition offense is pretty legit.

Again, at this time. BI may develop more in year 3.

And I dont think Chicago trades Lauri. I doubt they trade him for BI straight up.

In that scenario, you can trade him to Chicago.
Or trade him as part of a PG package. Or a Cousins package.
The question was what would my lineup be.

I wouldn't bother asking about him because Bulls will keep Lavine and will resign him.

sure but he command that kind of salary as well. we have i think 2 more years of BI at cheap salary before it balloons while LaVine is looking to get paid this summer

I'd rather they just go after PG and LaVine. With Zo, PG, LaVine and Kuzma, we'd have enough offense, playmakers at multiple positions, no need for Cousins. We need a true defensive C.

Lavine's cap hold is $9.6M I believe if you get him in a trade this year.

I'm sorry, but there's almost no chance the Thunder deal PG13 let alone dealing him to the Lakers. I think the only way that the Thunder would even consider dealing him is if he went to the FO and told them he wasn't re-signing there under any circumstance. And that's probably not going to happen. They're going to live and die by the Westbrook/PG13/Carmelo trio.

He isn't a reckless driver. His game is more smooth/finesse than your typical super athlete. Catch and shoot. Pull ups. Dribble drives for layups unless the lane is wide open(then it's a dunk.) I don't think that's something you have to worry about with him. Coming into the league he likened himself more to Curry than Westbrook.

1. Why would the Bulls trade Lavine? And why would the Lakers trade Ingram for him (a downgrade), especially when he's still being baby-stepped from ACL surgery?

2. Your only real shot at him is in free agency, where the Bulls will most certainly match. They have like 60 mil in cap room this offseason (assuming they renounce Mirotic).

It's not happening, guys.

Competing in the playoffs is part of the Pelicans plan to get Cousins to commit.
