He hasn't been able to backup that talk the last few games.
Maybe deservedly so, put some unneeded pressure on himself to NOW have to deliver, particularly if the Lakers told him "Alright you're going to say this? Prove it."
Thus far, he hasn't.
That could all change with an off-season of work, but GM's are gonna be looking at what he was able to do this season, not what he was able to 'maybe' accomplish during the summer.
I don't see any team desperate enough to make him their starter except the Knicks tbh.
He'll get much more longevity in his career as a whole, as a 6th man. |
This is so true. I actually liked how he was playing before those comments. Oh well, makes the FO's decision to not go after him at all in the after this season an easy one. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

Windhorst on 710 today.
3 min mark on PG13 among league circles...
“Nobody believes that he has decided on OKC. They believe he will be an available free agent come July 1.” |
Did he also mention that water is wet? Of course he will be an available FA on July 1. The only way he wouldn’t would be if he opted in before then. |
Interpret the second sentence in light of the first. It's not that hard. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. And people who would be happy in heaven if Christ were not there, will not be there."

Randle has come into his own in his 4th year in the league and we are giving up on zo after 1 year?
|
Randle also never averaged below 60% from the free throw line so there’s that |

Magic is not giving up on ZO and also LeBron wants him here too got it. Also Randle is going to get at least $12 mil a year because that's his cap hold. |

recently heard Vecenie on his podcast suggest that the Bucks will not match a large offer to retain Jabari.....which is similar to what is being speculated about Orlando with Gordon. My guess is most teams still rank Parker and Gordon ahead of Randle, which if true should significantly suppress Randles market this summer. On top of that, 5-6 PF's are expected to go in the lottery this year, which includes many of the teams with the most cap flexibility. |

Corey has fit in nicely with the Thunder. He is playing well. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

He came back to earth tonight... but he did hit a key shot that helped them with the probable win. |

Last 2 minutes of a close game and Pg13 didn’t even touch the ball. It was mostly melo/WB with key shots from Brewer and FTs from Adams. Interesting. Probably a win still but seems in last few minutes of close games he doesn’t get the rock. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Damn Melo missed two free throws to clinch the game... I thought they were dumb not to foul Brewer but it was the wise choice. |

he shot 19 times...dude gets a ton of shots in OKC....would not be surprised he he actually got less with the Lakers.....nobody on our team gets anywhere near the # of shots he takes in OKC.

Yeah I like the guy but I keep wondering if he's worth 30 million. He's better than what we have but he doesn't have an influence during crunch time. |

Yeah watching on TNT but you said they were about to lose when they already had so I thought you were streaming it. |

Right. But more often than not in close games it seems he’s frozen out as it becomes the WB/Melo show. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Yeah I like PG but it's so frustrating that he stands in the corner like Lonzo when he's such a good shooter. Our team could have beaten that team without Kyrie... no excuse for that loss.
Tatum looked good though |

Well that was a big loss for OKC. It's looking more and more likely Portland's going to lock down the number 3 seed. OKC could end up with the 4th or 5th seed. And the winner of that series would play the Houston Rockets in the second round. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |
