Especially if the clippers are being sneaky trying to open up cap space themselves for Lebron/PG13/Cousins. |
I'm not convinced there are established stars who want to hitch their wagon to Griffin. Paul left the impression that Blake wasn't serious about winning and Griffin has done plenty to validate that narrative. He's also injury prone and on a massive (cap clogging) contract.
Would not be surprised at all to see them move Blake and go full tank. |
This.
Plus I highly doubt Lebron, PG, and Demarcus would connect and trust Doc Rivers and Steve Ballmer over MAGIC JOHNSON
Plus those three superstar players know who’s runs this town. The Clippers could even win a championship ( ) but they know the heart of the city will always belong to the Lakers. I’m Pretty sure Magic and Rob will use this speech lol _________________ "Tryin' to get that Kobe number, One Over Jordan"

He might be the most athletic center in the game. Probably the best rim protector with Andre Drummon right behind him.
Other than that DeAndre is absolutely limited.
Zero post game, horrible free throw shooter, and if it’s not a dunk there’s like a 98% chance he ain’t getting you the bucket.
Wish his player option for next season at 24million wasn’t there lol
With all that said I’d still rather pay DeAndre Jordan then Loul Deng _________________ "Tryin' to get that Kobe number, One Over Jordan"

Cause Deandre Jordan's on the trading block for the Clippers, does anyone wanna try trading Lopez for him and making Jeanie and Magic write apology letters to Jerry so that he's no longer mad at us? _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

We need a C who can shoot FTs because our PG is not there yet. |

Lopez can shoot FTs... but I'd rather have a center that could at least defend the pick and role somewhat and be counted on to exploit center mismatches when someone puts a forwardo n him, from a rebounding standpoint at LEAST.
if the Suns and Clippers have been in talks for Deandre, it's likely meaning that they'd trade Chandler for him.
And if the Suns can get Jordan for Chandler.. we should be able to get him for Lopez I'd assume. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

If Luke absolutely needs a "Bogut" center to excel with his scheme because it's obvious he has no clue how to use Lopez. Then Jordan would fit. We could wait till the off-season and make an effort to sign Noel too.. but I'd rather move Lopez now than later in free agency when he walks for nothing. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

if not for the 2 max plan....I would love to see Noel with our young core....he is not going to do a ton offensively except rolling to basket and garbage points....but his defensive potential and rim protecting on defense would be fun. It's not always a bad thing to have a player on the court that is not seeking jump shots. |

also....some may laugh at me, but I still think Dewayne Dedmon could be a fit on this team, especially if we add some offensive firepower |

here's a good website listing all the 2018 free agents in order by how much their currently making
http://www.spotrac.com/nba/free-agents/2018/
some good notable names with good value money wise i see is
demarcus cousins who is making 5mil less than lopez but i'm sure he'll want way more than he's making now
jabari parker only at 7mil a year but has history of injuries but if healthy is a dam good productive player ,, restricted free agent though and most likely bucks will match any offer
jhalil oakafor only at 4mil dude can score 20 a night easy but his defense is non existent
alex len only 4mil not great but he'll at least play better D than lopez
jeff green at only 2mil can drive pretty good and shoots pretty good if he's got the open shot
rodney hood 1.5mil can hit open 3's but he's a restricted free agent so utah will most likely match any offer
of course lebron & paul george there too , i don't think we have a shot at lebron , he's not gonna want to go to a young team that's still on its way up and few years away from reaching its full potential .... paul george on the other hand depending on how much he wants to come home to play we really have a shot at him if magic can close the deal |
