Don't need to go to Harvard to know in NBA team With the best player/players now that we have super teams usually has a higher probability of winning.

Really impressed here. Now let's get these math geeks to help out our coaching staff, this is a very big step for the Lakers!

It's a big relief knowing we have an analytics guy on board. We are going to need his expertise with so many decisions to make this year.

Do you mean teams like OKC, Golden State, San Antonio and Houston?

All four are well known for being involved with Analytics.

And is it a coincidence that the best teams seem to have the smartest analytics guys?

Given some of our recent staffing changes over the summer, etc, I was not expecting much in terms of our hire here, but really happy to see this news. Don't know much about the guy, but looks like he has the right pedigree and background to really positively impact the team's future personnel decisions.
