I admire Kobe Bryant...

For being able to score 81 points in a single NBA Game

For being able to overcome all the obstacles of the media, criticism, Colorado incident, and still be able to perform for us Laker fans and the organization

For being able to master the game of basketball

For striving to be the best player in history

For his work ethic and never say die attitude

For his ability to single handely defeat a NBA team by himself

For his efforts in giving us 3 NBA Championships and counting...

I just wanted to post why I admire Kobe Bryant and why he is my favorite player...i would like to see your guys reasons for admiring Kobe Bryant...let the thread begin!

Don't get carried away, the guy just puts a ball in a hoop well. Basketball is a child's game. I see kids playing it every day. There are many more worthy people to admire.

I find Kobe entertaining, same as Keifer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. I can't wait to watch the latest installment of Laker basketball or of 24. I admire all the good Kobe does for people in need, to me that is noteworthy.
