Nah, if you've watched any nets preseason games...DLO isn't very good, like at all. DLO wasn't traded because of his BB skills, he was traded away because of his lack of dedication to his craft and locker room issues. BI sucks right now too, but at least he's working on it...

very clear you have not watched any Nets preseason games

Very clear he's talking out of his you know what

Not happening cuz they wanted him to take over this year. They just need to reel him back. Let him gain strength and work his way off the bench.

I completely understand that, but he needs to do it within the offense. He was fantastic the first 3 quarters. He was a completely different player in the 4th. He’s simply not good enough for Hero Ball.

Can you imagine having an "ice in my veins" moment followed by a DLO to Kuzma flush?

I'm tearing up

Hitting open shots is much easier than contested shots. Of course it will make a difference.

Other than Lopez and Kuzma, who on this team can actually make open shots?

I'm not sure Dlo would look too good with our roster of non-shooters and zero spacing, either. He's gonna benefit a ton from playing in the wide open Brooklyn offense.

This lineup

Lonzo Ball
D'Angelo Russell
Kyle Kuzma
Julius Randle
Brook Lopez

Would have much better spacing than the current one and Russell, Kuzma and Lopez would be capable of hitting wide open threes on the perimeter at a consistent basis. Lonzo would have a field day with that kind of lineup.

Oh my god yes I would take him 1,000 times over Luke

It would make a great narrative... trying to get revenge on the team that dumped him.

Hell no. If you thought Byron Scott was old school, wait until you see Mark Jackson up close. He gets biblical. His idea of coaching offense is pregame chapel.

That's why Kuzma needs to start alongside Ball

DLO with this team would be so fun and exciting. He was always the main piece. Its obvious that the coaching and playing with JC/JR was a struggle for him. But he actually made them look better.

Yet, our FO blamed him and literally threw him in the trash

Traded Ingram in MyGM in 2K to the Nets along with some picks and other players and got Russell back, along with Allen Crabbe and DeMare Carroll.

Changed Kuzma to a small forward, and played a starting lineup of Ball, Russell, Kuzma, Randle and Lopez and changed our playbook to Atkinson's and hired an assistant coach that actually knew what defense was.

We won 50+ games and the Championship in our first season

all I know is we (the fans) had totally bought in to developing the youth....were excited and supportive....then Magic showed up, decided to trash that plan, and revert back to the exact plan that Jim and Mitch spectacularly failed at....and tried to pretend it was some new special strategy.
