if Josh Jackson is not careful, he is going to play himself onto the All Rookie 2nd Team....another big night....29 Points, 7 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 2 Steals and 2 Blocks (9 of 16 FG, 1 of 1 from 3, and 10 of 13 from the line).

He's been better over the last 2 months. Still not shooting the 3-ball well though, about 30% during that time. He's at about 70% from the FT line in that time, which is an improvement. I was never quite as high on him as you were (I recall you liked him more than Lonzo), but I definitely liked him as well, and still think he will be a good player. Put it this way, I feel like he can be, at worst, this year's version of Andrew Wiggins but with actual motor on defense. Obviously, we'll see if the shot can develop.

he is still my favorite player from that draft, and I still have confidence in his long term success. He has a long way to go....has to become more efficient in every area, but he has made massive gains in getting to the basket, passing, and on ball defense since December. It is clear the game has been slowing down for him...his turnovers have dropped drastically. Since January 1st, he has had 10 games (out of 25) scoring 20 or more points which is right behind Mitchell for rookies. If they hire a good coach this summer, and his minutes stabilize, I expect him to have a big year next season....but I would not expect a major improvement in his shot by next season.

Mitchell the ROY over Simmons?

he is gaining on Simmons....I think if their current trajectory remains through the end of the season, it will be a toss up. Right now, it feels like I still hear more voices that give Simmons the edge....but even they ("NBA Twitter") are recognizing that Mitchell is closing the gap fast.

19, 3 and 3 vs 16, 7 and 7, with the latter having better everything?

But there does seem to be a bias against non Americans.

Josh Jackson continued his solid 2nd half of season with 23 Points, 6 Rebounds, 2 Assists and 2 Steals against Boston.

Also, Fultz made his long awaited return to the court for the 76'ers, and looked very good with 10 points, 4 Rebounds and 8 Assists in only 14 Minutes. He showed a lot of positive signs....easily using his great handle, shake, and change of pace to create his own shot or get to the rim as will. He even had a couple mid range shots in 4th Quarter that looked very pure. He got blocked a few times at the rim, but overall, looked much better than expected after being out for almost 4 months.

I agree that will be the 1st team, and Simmons will win ROY.

who is 2nd team? assume it will be 5 of these guys...think Bogdan and Lonzo make it?

Dennis Smith Jr.
Bogdan Bogdanovic
Lonzo Ball
De'Aaron Fox
OG Anunoby
Josh Jackson
Dillon Brooks
John Collins
Bam Adebayo
Jordan Bell
