I've always liked this guy.

Kuzma is nice and suited for the NBA game. I believe it's only a matter of time in terms of him being a starter. He's definitely going to get minutes. If the Lakers want to open up and make room for a Bigger Name Player closer to the deadline, Kuzma would easily slide into the starting role.

Nice to hear he was able to graduate, even with one year left. Respect.
Doubling up on classes and loading up on credits to graduate a year early is pretty tough to do, particularly if you have to devote time in the evenings and weekends to playing competitive college basketball. Definitely - Respect.

I dunno if we have the steal of the draft. Kuzma looks capable of being productive as a scorer in his first season, so for a late first round pick, that's nice value.
The guy who may be the steal of the 2017 draft seems to be Dennis Smith at the moment, a top three quality draft pick taken at #9.
I still think Jordan Bell is going to last a long time in this league for a mid-second round selection, so maybe he's got the inside track to be the long term steal of the draft. _________________ “These GOAT discussions are fun distractions while sitting around waiting for the pizza to be served.”

Smith is the reason I wouldnt have minded trading down and Bell is the guy I was hoping the Lakers would buy another 2nd to draft. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' I wanted Bell too, but we got Kuz so I'm happy. Probably unrealistic to draft Kuz and then Bell with #30 b/c we needed guards after trading DLO. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
