It's really kind of silly to try to parse out individual credit for draft picks because unless you are on the inside you don't really know who said/did what. I just give credit to the front office as a whole.

Weren't Magic and Rob at the draft combine where Kuzma showed out in the scrimmage and they fell in love with him?
