EL SEGUNDO – The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Travis Wear, it was announced today by General Manager Rob Pelinka. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Wear most recently was a member of the Lakers’ entry in the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League, where he contributed 7.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists as Los Angeles won their first summer league championship. The 6-foot-10 forward played in 42 games (13 starts) for the South Bay Lakers last season, tallying 12.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game.

The Lakers training camp roster stands at 19.

Really great summer league, I want both him and AC to make the team but I dont think it can happen

But wow I looked him up and hes already 27

He's probably gonna get cut in the next few days so the Southbay Lakers can have his rights in the G-League. Or is he our 2nd two-way player?

He shot 35% from 3 in the summer league. Looking at their percentages in the preseason maybe they are this desperate.

Exhibit 10 is part of the new collective bargaining agreement that covers two-way contracts. So they are probably going to sign him to a two-way contract and stash him in the g league.

So is it a two-way? I guess that means Blue is out. Frankly, I think we need a guard more.

Unless... unlesss....... Caruso's going from 2 way contract to take Ennis' spot on the permanent roster?? Now we have an open 2 way for Wear?

Is an upgrade for Caruso within the rules at this point? Just guessing a little here.
