Interesting are we perhaps trading Zu or is he there as a player development?

I think the Lakers may have won the lottery.

Or maybe he's secretly a bomb coach and he's going to take over for Luke?

How many bigs with an injury history do they need to have a complete set?

I think what we're seeing here, is not only is a trade on the horizon at some point in the future. Not imminent, but between now and whenever, Tiago's presence mean a trade will happen in the future.

It's also a possibility that the FUX initiative (Foreign Union Exchange) has gone live now that we just may have representation from 3 separate continents at one position.

Collection's not complete until the ultra rare Andrew Bynum shows up around the facility.

And someone should ask Trudell if Tiago grew a few inches.

I wouldn't read much into it. He's been making the rounds, hanging out with a lot of teams as, he put it, "a learning experience" to figure out what he wants to do when he is certain he can no longer play. He already has a standing offer from the Spurs for an off-the-court job so he's just networking.

I like Trudell, but that's funny.

Due to multiple physical problems, Brazilian big man Tiago Splitter has played only 44 NBA games over the last two years. While not ready to call it quits as a player, the 32-year-old Splitter is exploring alternative options for his future.

Gregg Popovich has opened the door for Tiago Splitter to return to San Antonio in an off the court role if he decides to hang it up. Splitter has been killed by injuries, playing just 44 games over the past two seasons.
