I do not think Indiana will have it any other way. I would push hard for Indiana to accept Lamar, miami's pick, cookie or devean george. I would push also for Lamar and Kwami for JO.
What do you guys think? |

Can we please discuss trades that would truly help (not giving up so much for 1 player) and that could actually happen before this trade deadline?

Same here as Jermaine is the same age as Kobe and one of the top power players in the NBA. _________________ "I told him I'm down with it," Bryant told the Times. "This is our sport, this is basketball." |

A healthy Jermaine O'Neal? Hell yeah. O'Neal with Kobe would make all of these other scrubs that we have ten times better. Use a MLE exception here or there, and you're talking about a team that could compete for championships for a while.
While we'd be losing Odom's ballhandling, we'd be not only getting his rebounding back, but a consistent low post threat and we'd get MUCH better defensively. Plus, he's almost the identical age that Kobe is.
I'd make this move in a heartbeat, ESPECIALLY considering LO's progression (or lack thereof) as the facilitator. |

I can't remember a season where JO didn't miss significant time with an injury. Maybe back when he was riding the bench in Portland. I think he's a great player, but he's kinda fragile - don't know if I would trade our future potential in Bynum and a solid player right now in Odom for him. |

Yes. Bynum is 18 yrs old and may turn out to be an average center. Odom is always going to be what he is which means our team as currently constructed may always be ust what it is, a .500 team. J. Oneal, if healthy makes us a 50 win team given we get the right player with the MLE this offseason. |

If you start from his time in Indy, and don't include the games he missed because of the brawl, he's missed less games than Kobe has. |

The only player in the league I'd trade Bynum for is Dwight Howard. NOONE else. _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

I'm assuming AirKobe8 are talking about players with matching salaries, which obviously is not KG's case...that said, the only players I'd trade Bynum for DEPENDING ON WHAT PACKAGE IS (as much as we might suck,we'll not give away our entire squad) are the following:
KG
KG
KG
.
.
.
.
then Duncan, then Lebron.
All of these are most probably out of question, which means that for me Bynum is a keeper. _________________ "A mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work if it's not open." - Frank Zappa |
