Another DIY night. I will be back in the swing of things soon.

My father passed away this Saturday. He was a good guy and a Laker fan. Took me to my first game. He had been battling health issues for years and the last few weeks his health went downhill quite a bit. Wasn't unexpected and he was 76, but still my dad and will be missed.

I'm in a better place with it than a couple days ago -- more ready to celebrate him than mourn. So next time you have a drink, toast an OG laker fan with me.

He would have really loved how the team played tonight. Good defense, transition ball, young guys showing their skills. Share your thoughts. It was a very good one to talk about.

Some good D by our lengthy athletic guys to watch for. Aside from Lopez getting picked on early on that end, really solid defensive game and that allowed them to play at their pace.

I just went through the same thing this year. Pops two months after moms. I'll pray for your comforting bro. God bless.

Here's an extremely short Twittercap from the other side:

Great game from LA. Probably the best in some time. Walton putting Randle in a position to succeed. Great 3Q from Lonzo. Kuzma isn't real.
https://twitter.com/colezwicker/status/925619939616026625

Lonzo with the punch pass to Lopez, back cut on Jackson and step-back to the left 3 in the 1Q. Also known as UCLA Lonzo.
https://twitter.com/colezwicker/status/925595188168290304

Really like the Kuzma/Randle 4/5 pairing. Not going to protect the rim but can switch. Randle is murdering Leuer & Ellenson.
https://twitter.com/colezwicker/status/925598524967862272

This is just a gorgeous sequence from LA https://t.co/VZwqo2WHaX
https://twitter.com/colezwicker/status/925613429506818049

This is probably how the whole game went.

May DB senior RIP ...hopefully he and Chick are enjoying the view from above.

As for the win ...
Good defense, leads to transition offense, yields quality shots, that led to a east win over a team many think is better than ours.
