2 runs against triple-A pitching. Probably no run support again for Kershaw tomorrow. |

Impressive by Kershaw to get out of that bases loaded no outs situation, but obviously not too impressive that he was the one that loaded it up. Also, 85 pitches through only 4 innings. |

Sigh - killed by Rojas. I remember he looked like a HOF'er for us whenever Hanley was out. |

Losing to the Marlins at home with Kershaw starting?
The Dodgers were -385 on the moneyline in this game, come on Man! _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I went to the game and he’s either hurt or on the
downside of his career / he was wild and his fastball clocked
in at a whopping 91 mph. |

Ryu with a double to score two. He is a decent hitter for a pitcher. |

Another disappointing night - Someone new on our team is finding a way to screw up every night. Bullpen implosion this time. |

Yes, Baez falling off the mound with the balk to put the Giants ahead was far from enjoyable to watch for me, David Roberts and frankly anyone who had the misfortune to see it. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Not that I saw the Dodger game tonight, but it's pretty surprising to me that the Dodgers haven't dealt Baez by now. They should have moved him in the offseason. The fanbase hates this guy, and he literally gets booed whenever he's in a game at Dodger Stadium. For that reason alone, unless a dude is a peak performer, you should move him and give him a change of scenery, and get what you can. The reason is because, basically, imagine the pressure he feels knowing his own fans hate him. You can't function in an optimal fashion that way. You aren't putting your players in the best possible position to succeed. I mean, whether the fans are justified or not really isn't the point. |

Quote: | An oddity: the Dodgers are 11-12 for the 6th time ever. Each of the first 5 times, they’ve recovered and gone to the postseason. |

I'm definitely not convinced about Buehler. He was lucky to not get blown up in his first start, and is getting worked today. |

Hopefully the big lead keeps his confidence going for this game at least. But yeah that first inning was bad. He kinda reminds me of Strasburg. |

Baez is garbage. He gave up 3 hits and 4 runs and got only 1 out. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Finally game over. Good win. Game 2 coming up in couple of hours. I love double headers. 6-7 hours of Dodgers in one day. Doesnt get better than that. |

Good start for the Dodgers...Up 2-0 in the 2nd game against Cueto in the 1st inning with Seager hitting a homer. |

Why do your own TV guy always want to jinx the pitcher? I knew it when Dodger play by play guy mentioned how little work Alex Wood has put in to get thru the first 4 innings. I knew it 5th inning gonna be a struggle for him, so far I’m correct. |
