Great game by Kershaw. Much needed win.

Well, after Kershaw's lower velocity on Opening Day was a concern, he's gone out and looked like the same old dominant regular season Kershaw.

And that's been a huge relief for me cause I was kind of thinking this was the beginning of his ebbing as dominant arm. Here's hoping he keeps proving me wrong all season long.

Bryce Harper broke his bat and hit a HR. I have never seen that before. The pitch was 99 miles per hour.

Playing the Padres is just what this team needs to break out of their losing ways.

Great outing by Wood, Cingrani, Chagois, even Baez looked great then Jansen ugh. Blown save he's horrible. You can't keep running him out there losing games with the record the Dodgers have. At this point he's a gascan.

At this point, I would let him start the inning...But after he gets in trouble, have someone else come in.

Come one Kenley. Damn. We need another closer until Kenley is back to being himself from the past years.

At this point it's a toss up who is worse, Jansen or Alexander.

Back to back walks and no outs. I don't think Stripling can get out of this.

Nice to win it after the blown save, at least. I didn't see the game, so if anyone was watching, what did Kenley's velocity look like? What was the issue: velocity, command, the cutter not cutting, what is it?

Velocity and cutter not cutting. He was flat. We should’ve actually lost that game in the 9th..padres were all over him.

Baby steps. They have a couple winnable series upcoming but Jansen certainly isn't inspiring any kind of confidence.
