Different media reports have alluded to this being the case. If that is true then isn't the '07 plan is still very much in effect? Does Emplay, Larry Coon, or any other people know anything about the validity of this stuff?

no offense intended and i have seen this issue on the board this week, but does anyone here actually believe the lakers will waive kwame brown ?

there is no way the lakers waive brown this, next or the season after. it is just not going to happen ... i am not defending browns play in any way but it is very unlikely the lakers would ever do anything like that

some will disagree but only time will bear out the truth ..

No Kwame not's gonna get waived.

Am I surprised that (if) they actually guaranteed his 3rd year?

Heck yeah.

I respect Eric alot and have no doubt that he's honest in reporting that as fact.

I just hope by some chance that his source was wrong and we haven't
guaranteed Kwame's 3rd year. Bad move IMO.
