I can't stand that Shake Milton plays with Kyle Anderson pace/athleticism, but like Anderson, has elite measureables by height and wingspan.

There's gotta be a way to make that guy stronger.

trent can't handle the ball for (bleep). imo he's a spot up shooter and nothing else.

i'm low on shake because of his relative stiffness. if only he were named stiff milton, maybe then he'd have shake.

IMO Keep an eye on Keita Bates-Diop out of Ohio State.

6'7" 235lbs. 7' 3" wingspan

20PPG, 9 RPG, 1.7 BPG, 1.5 APG, 29.6 PER, 36.3% 3FG

Positives
Long, athletic wing
Good shooter with deep range
Excellent in transition

Negatives
Needs to improve his ball handling skills

He does have the sleepy style.
But he still seems to be able to get his shot off.
7'0 wingspan and big hands, while shooting 80+% FTs and 40+% 3pts.
And his splits between power conference to lower conferences are pretty level.

There are also some question marks about Booker's ball-handling ability and how prolific of a shot-creator he will become at the NBA level. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Devin-Booker-7216/ ©DraftExpress

I think Cleveland is going to struggle while Kevin Love is out for the next 4 weeks. This first round pick could be in the High Teens low twenties by the end of the season.

It'd be like replacing KCP with a cheaper, younger, dumber KCP.

I know that has kind of been the narrative/summary on him...but the few (like only 3-4) times I have watched him this season, I think he has shown he "could" be a little more than that...I assume kaoss probably watched the WVU/UK game like I did where I thought he showed some positive signs.

If he can defend a bit, I'm not going to care too much. Minimal mistakes, an idea for passing, proven shooting, legit measurables. Ideally, he could play backup PG.

Right, but that went all out the window once Booker showed out with ball-handling during player workouts.

I’d like to see Welsh get a summer league invite. Let’s see what he’s got up against a top 3 pick.

ok Mike, you murdered the last draft. Is the talent level at the end of the first round similar to last season? Another Josh Hart or Kuzma would be nice

I think uh, won the Kuzma/Hart rankings in all our Mocks.
44thelogy brought Kuz to the table here , and Mike was high on Hart and Bryant. I think I was just lower on other players so they were higher on my mock. Mike had Hart ranked highest though.

not sure if he has been discussed yet, but if Texas Tech Freshman Zhaire Smith declares for the draft, he would likely be my #2 option for the Cleveland pick behind Jevon Carter. I do not think anyone expected Z. Smith to be a "one and done" player, but it becomes more likely with each game he plays. The kid is a 6'5" athletic and skilled stud shooting guard. If you are unaware of him....you owe it to yourself to check him out.

More top heavy. Thins out fast. Less wings.
