Noel because I think we trade Deng, Randle and Zu for Noel and McRoberts at the deadline.

To those who say Boogie: are you thinking its Boogie plus PG or Bron?

Or are you thinking/hoping that all 3 would come and take below max?

I can see that, especially if our season is in shrinks by Feb

What would be the reason for trading for Noel?

Because we could see if we like him as a fit, while shedding Deng?

Or are we able to go over the cap/does he have a low cap hold?

Just saw Noel has a 7.9m cap hold - so if you traded for him you could go over the cap to sign him for 10m plus if wanted/needed.

Theoretically, I think any deal has us involving Randle with other assets for other pieces like Noel, would result in the FO letting this season play out with the FA in mind, this team has shown they can compete but if the December/Jan schedule throws them off, then we might see possible trade scenarios involving guys like Lopez/Randle and others to prepare us for the FA shopping.

Deff think we use Randle as part of any Deng trade.

Depending where we are come deadline, I could deffeintrly see Brook and/or KCP being dealt.

Only tricky thing is that not a ton of teams have the cap space/contracts to match with Brook and KCP.

But neither is likely part of our plan next year so getting even a 2nd round pick is worth it.

That would be a good trade for us and I would do that in a heartbeat .

If the Lakers weren't high on Jules, that might be a fair swap. See what Noel can do. Plus you already have a Rich Paul client here anyways, I'm sure Paul wouldn't mind having the Lakers by the balls.

I sense that the Lakers are already preparing for the Randle exit, ever since Woj reported that he wasn’t in the future plans his game has taken a back turn, it would be interesting to see how a Deng/Randle trade can happen with keeping the max slot in place.

Doubt that Cuban gives up cap space for Deng. Unless a couple of lightly protected first round picks are included. Depending on what Matthews does he could be looking at $55 mil in cap space.

Yes, I am sure teams are dying to use $35 mil of cap space on Deng and Randle.

There is no way Dallas takes Deng. It would be a Jules for Noel swap basically.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Nance by utility. He's cheap.

He's not very good at center.

If you have Lebron and PG13 does it really matter?

Actually yes. Need a rim protector and big man who can switch.

Tristan at his peak (pre-Kardashian) provided a bit of both.

Who's the rim protector on the Celtics? If everyone can stay in front of their man it's not that important.
