That's been the predominant complaint with this year's Laker Girls and I tend to agree. They are very beautiful, do not get me wrong, but they are just not my type I guess I would say.

So clearly the Heat Girls are at least a few notches up above the Laker Girls at the moment. And then the Jazz Girls are probably about one notch up from the Heat Girls - objectively speaking, of course.

I have not seen any of the Heat Girls routines yet though, to be fair. Whereas the Jazz Girls routines are really not bad at all, bordering on quite good. Which is surprising, considering mormonism.

I can tell you though that the Nets Girls are relatively lackluster. Knicks Girls have to be up near the top.

What is surprising though is that while the competition to become a Laker Girl is extreme - amongst the toughest dance teams to make, nation-wide, making dancing with the stars look like child's play - the talent ultimately selected makes one scratch his or her head.

I'm thinking this may be a coaching and scouting problem more than anything else. I understand that in this day and age blaming the coaching staff has become quite the cliche, but it's also clear that at least sometimes that notion is correct.

Is Paula Abdul the answer? Possibly, but I only know her from American Idol and that show was trash. Maybe someone can enlighten me as to why she is the one to turn the Laker Girls around.

They have to be traded ASAP. Can we do a blockbuster trade with UTAH girls?

That's certainly an option and one that I would wholeheartedly support. I'd even be willing to give up a second round pick to make it happen.

They'd have to trade their coaching staff over as well, though.

I'd love to have GoldenThroat weigh in on this one as well.

The Jazz dancers are really white.

If there's one valid complaint against the Jazz Girls, it's that, Baron. Can't dispute that one.

Okay okay okay - jury is still out on this one. I will try and catch the next Heat home game as admittedly I have yet to see the Heat Girls in action.

It's more of an observation than a complaint. To each their own, I say.

Miami and NYK dancers are the peak of the NBA.

I also learned that if you name your daughter Alexa or Alexis, there's a 25% chance she grows up to be a dancer.

I enjoy the Laker Girls, and I wasn't going to weigh in, but Magic & Pelinka did come in and promising to strengthen every single department. Here's what they need to do.

Fire everyone in charge. That lady and the group of lame dudes who judge and select these girls. And also hire someone who can provide new and entertaining dance moves. They can keep their outfit designer though.

We live in a different era. This isn't 80's & 90's anymore. Can I get a thickness? Some of these girls are really pretty but they fit a certain skinny mold. We should have more girls shaped like Stephanie, the curvy blonde from the 2014-2015 season.

I would shorten the dance years requirement down from 8 years when your cheerleaders are older than the team itself. There still fine but the usc cheerleaders look better lol.

Wow, yeah. If the requirement is 8 years that is absurd.
