I wish he would, but I doubt it. If only he would trade for a decent pg.

I would say somewhere between 1% and 100%. Seriously, I think a trade will be made. I am not sure of the magnitude of the trade, but I think the Lakers pull the trigger on at least one.

My sources tell me that there is a 100% chance that we either will or will not make a trade involving a player or players who is/are average, above average, or below average for a combination of some, all, or none of our players and/ or draft picks in a trade involving between 2-30 teams.

Sorry, I just wanted to have the first crack at a useless post before the mob decends on Lionel's statement above!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the last pre-deadline trade the Lakes made was back in '97 for George friggin' McCloud. Before that, they stole Danny Schayes in '94.

One could support the glass-is-half-full argument and write that they're due to trade, or one can be a realist and swallow the current roster.

the difference between last years deadline and this one is that so far the Lakers have been very hush hush with their intentions

Haley and others haven't blurted out possibilities for days just prior

No it was Glenn Rice for Eddie Jones and Elden in 99. Jerry West nearly had T-Mac for Glenn in 2000 until another team nixed it.

Lionel, if you are 100% certain, when do you think? Before or after the All-Star break?

Just one player or multiple?

I wish for more than one.

And if I was wishing for one it would be KG.

I will put down the pipe, sorry.

About 5% chance we make a trade, it wish it were higher but it's Mitch after all. Also, I can't believe me and Mitchell have the same first name.
