Currently we are 7-10 which is 22nd in the league by percentage. 7 teams currently have 7 wins. Here is the standings link on espn.

We are currently 10th in the Western Conference only .5 game out from the 8th seed.

What happens to the pick if outside of 2-5? I was thinking they have it regardless of standings. |

| If Fultz gets well, I'm thinking both teams are equally dangerous. We should just try to make the playoffs and make the pick as bad as possible. |

The lottery determines the top 3 picks (with each non-playoff team having a chance at getting a top 3 pick, the better your record, the lower the chance), the rest is determined by the record of the team during the previous season. |

| It's funny how much defense and effort can close the gap between NBA teams sometime. Obviously star power is key in the NBA, well except if you're OKC. 😂 |

Majority of the first 18+ games have been brutal but we're also in the 8th seed still. Maintaining that while the schedule evens out after December will be huge.

| I was hoping that we would beat kings. Seems we played poor defense. December is brutal. Got to win versus easy teams. This team is better than people think. Not sure if it is youth, bad coaching, or a bit of both. But, this team looks better than last year. |

| They are a freaking tease. I'm going to stop being optimistic after every win. You know what we do as fans after every win? We talk playoffs, we move their potential ceilings higher, etc. I'm gonna stop doing that until they can string together 3 wins in a row. |

I didn't think their defense was any different. The Kings just played a full 48 minutes and other than maybe the Clippers game, that hasn't happened this year. Usually the Lakers get hot or the other team folds or a little of both. |

No true shooters on the team. It also isn't helping that the guys who get to the line most are Ingram and Randle. |

League: Tied for 20th with Utah and Orlando .5 game behind OKC and Charlotte for 19th seed.
WC: Tied for 9th with Utah .5 game behind OKC for 8th seed.

| Its gonna be real tough to knock off a current WC team out of the current Top 8 right now, so if the Lakers want to make the playoffs they might need to acquire a good player to help us knock off a Denver Nugget or a OKC. |
