Listen to what Brian Shaw says to Dennis Scott who's mic is still on at 13:38.

What'd he say?

"Last year we had D'Angelo... was bull****ing all the time."

LOL. You made an account just to post the closed caption?

Yes.

I remember right after last season ended, a LG member who lives in Oakland said he saw BShaw at Trader Joe's. He yelled out, "Don't trade DLO!" And Bshaw replied, "Naw, he ain't the one."

I guess that LG member was dead on...

Why should he when that's not what this is.

I liked seeing Kuz and Zo shooting.. Also liked seeing Ingram working on shooting off of curls.

It's a DLo (bleep)-posting thread. It's not even stealth about it.

If that's what some choose to do in here that's their prerogative.. We can all have different takes on the video.

I am not surprised, but didn’t Dlo himself basically say something similar about himself.

I think I remember him saying that winning/success always came easy to him in basketball so he was not used to having to work so hard for it.

Even still.. There's more to glean from the video than what occurred at 13:38.

I could have sworn Luke said Randle and DLO didnt know what to do to prepare for games, in terms of coming up with a routine. Actually it might have been DLO himself who said that. Not sure if that's on Byron or the players.

I agree.. @epak.. Why wouldn't the onus be on the coaching staff if a player isn't approaching the game in the right way. Isn't that your job to get them in the right frame of mind?

And people wondering why DLO was traded. We can apologize to Byron now.

While DLO made mistakes, the lakers did too. Both are at fault for how it played out.

I can remember Kobe offering advice to DLo in the area of preparation. DLo said he wanted to find a routine that was more suited for himself. Apparently the routine of arguably the most mentally and physically well-prepared athlete of all time wasn't good enough for him.

Brian Shaw had an entire team rebel against him. Byron shat all over Jeremy Lin, of all people. I think those guys might just be (bleep). And bad head coaches on top of it.

This isn't shocking. When Magic basically said he's not a leader you knew the guy wasn't serious about winning.

Both, but definitely the coaching staff.

I wonder where it all went wrong. I remember when they introduced Luke, DLO was swaying next to BShaw.

I remember watching it live so it must've been a pre/post-game interview.

It was probably too much for him.
