Thor finally takes his rightful place as the most powerful avenger.

I wonder how Tony will get back. Will Thor use Stormbreaker's bifrost ability to get him?

He's with Nebula and they still have Starlord's (Milano) ship on Titan.

So we will get Captain Marvel for the next one but will we get Adam Warlock or anyone else? Silver Surfer/F4/etc.?

Capt. Marvel for sure. Then Ant-Man, Wasp and Hawkeye probably.
I think Capt. Marvel is going to take Warlock's role from the comics in the next movie. Although he was teased in GotG 2, I don't think they'll bring him in.

**Pure speculation** **Spoiler Alert**

I'm pretty sure that since it's mainly all original Avengers remaining... a few of them will end up sacrificing themselves somehow to bring back all (or most) of the new blood. I think Vision will also be re-born. I mean they are in Wakanda... with Banner, Rocket, Shuri and possibly Stark working together, I'm sure they can figure out something to bring him back.

Don’t @ me.

I completely agree. The buildup/payoff, going back to his cameos in previous installments has definitely been worth it.

I think you're right. Dr. Strange is already playing part of the Adam Warlock role, so maybe Captain Marvel plays the Silver Surfer/part of Warlock role...?

I thought it was a pretty decent movie. I thought it almost lived up to the hype.

Really? It was a lot better than I expected. I've honestly never really walked out of a Marvel movie where I felt like watching it again in the theater, this is the first one to do that.

I walked out pretty geeked out. I could have stayed there all day watching this. I knew it was long while at the same time wanting more.

I'm not a comic book movie guy at all, but I thought it was enjoyable. Lots of boring set up in the beginning, but the action scenes were all paced and choreographed well. That despite having watched less than half of the MCU movies.

That said, I couldn't get over the stupidity of Vision's character arc. Redacted for spoilers but...

I just got back from seeing it and this was my thoughts exactly. I wouldn't have minded them keeping part one and two together and had it be a four and a half hour epic. I'd have easily sat through it.

I can't wait til next summer to see how they wrap this up!

And this. I left absolutely loving Thanos while simultaneously hating him. He was terrifying yet relatable.

Yeah, the ending was pretty dumb and I felt like the whole plot was pretty hard to follow.

The problem with making a supervillain this ridiculously overpowered is that the resolution will have to involve some sort of Deus Ex Machina.

I didn't find any of that to be an issue. It was very easy to follow. I just found it incredibly manipulative. As my wife said as we left, "Well that was a ton of fun until I felt totally ripped off". I don't have any problem with Thanos coming out the (temporary) victor, I just was insulted by the whole false drama nature of it in what is clearly just a money grab rather than actual storytelling.

Marvel: Hey, Here's 4/5ths of a movie. If you want the whole thing, come back and pay us for Part 2.

It had an Empire Strikes Back kinda ending.

I was almost certain it would end with some kind of cliffhanger. The rumors were that this was going to be Infinity War Part 1 and the next was going to be Part 2...

I didn't feel ripped off at all. Thanos freaking WON. And the remaining heroes are left licking their wounds.... wondering what the hell they're going to do next.

Question is, are they dead or just in some other place...I mean you can't kill Spiderman....

The Thanos snap follows the comic storyline. This is a big ass universe with many characters and storylines to follow so unless you want them to make a 5 hour movie I don't see how this is even a valid criticism? I'm amaze they even integrated so many plots and characters and still have a cohesive story. I'm curious if you felt cheated from LOTR and Deathly Hallows too?

Marvel doesn't own the rights to some of those characters and its too late in the game to introduce any characters besides the one in the post credits scene. If I had to take a guess she's going to take Adam Warlock's place in the infinity gauntlet storyline which is weird considering he's going to be in Guardians 3.

Antman and the Wasp seem like an afterthought after Infinity War. I felt like they should've released it before IW considering its between that and Civil War in the timeline. _______ ______ I'm completely stoked about considering the post credits scene in IW
