let's be honest....the real privileged one in this story is mom....us workin folk would most likely be like "mom, can you come and pick up Poupin? I have a work thing"....and if mom is alive and healthy, she has dad drive her down to pick up Poupin....while dad complains the whole way ("I just do not understand why a grown man has a cat....he doesn't have any friends that live close to him?.....He can't leave it with the Lakers people....have Magic take care of the cat?". |

| So he doesn't have a cat "guy" that knows / feeds the cat when he's on travel? Give him/her the cost of the 400mile uber to watch the cat for a few days. |

the more sensible thing to do is move your Mom out of Fresno. How could you make that much money and have your mom living out there?

She might actually want to live there. I find it hard to believe that he wouldn't want her to live closer to him if possible but she won't.
As much as we try our parents don't always listen to us as they get older. |
